Questions for this shipment:

Question: Shipper Would the 7th or 8th of Jan work for you? Thanks Dave (12/29/2007)
Response: yes that would be fine, you would be delivering to a marina so it would need to be there before their normal closing times. And I have a question as well. What would happen if for some reason you don't make it by closing, would there be any other charges for having to spend the night in ft. myers? Thanks, Doug (12/30/2007)
Response: Doug, I do not see why I cannot make it there before they close. If that did happen there are no extra charges for that.I am a legal transporter with Dot and MC numbers and provide proper Cargo Insurance no cost to you.I am not a broker, I will be transporting the boat myself.Pictures of my truck and trailer are on the feedback page and a copy of my Insurance.Be careful with getting the right Insurance to protect your boat.My bid includes everything,no added charges later. Thanks Dave (12/30/2007)
Question: 1200.00cash upon delivery. would p/u around 7th-9th candeliver anytime after that would be in florida for 10days so could drop anytime can launch you right in the water if you want save unloading fees. Let me know if interested i will bid. Thanks Tom (12/30/2007)
Response: Thanks Tom for getting this to me so quickly. This will be my first time having my boat shipped. Is there anything that I should have done to the boat pryor to it being shipped other than shrinked wrapped that would make it easier for you.And I am in contact with my marina in MD trying to get an answer when the shrink wrap will be completed. Thanks, Doug Phillips (12/30/2007)
Response: No just make sure the stern drive is up and if there wrapping it and it has a radar arch tell them to wrap it under the arch so the arch would not be covered is all but shrink wrap is not necessary if the weather is decent like i said i can launch right in the water if you want saves you unloading fees. you can clean the boat while it sits on my trlr if you want i would be in florida for 10days so you would have some time. (12/30/2007)
Response: great, the drive should be up on it, and no arch on the boat. The boat is going to another marina here in Fl., it needs some work done to it before I can drop it in the water, but thanks for the offer. Doug (12/30/2007)
Question: Doug one other thing ,shrink wrap most of the times comes right off,You might want to save that money.Just thought i would let you know that. Thanks Dave (12/30/2007)
Question: We have placed a bid. I agree with one of the comments posted, that shrink-wrap is not necessary, it can come loose (especially if it wasn't done right) and chafes the boat, then it would need to be buffed out. Usually all that happens to a boat is some road dirt and it is easily washed off. Also when considering bids, make sure that the provider offers cargo insurance for your boat, liability will not fix your boat, if it is involved in an accident. Mercer Enterprises (12/31/2007)
