Bid placed 7/20/2012 8:28 PM CST
Expires 24 hours after auction ends (7/27/2012 5:04 PM CST)
Hello. We also have a remaining 9 pallets of baby strollers that we would like delivered from Lancaster, PA to Randolph, MA. In addition to the quote we already received (for 26 pallets), would you be able to quote a LTL (9 pallets) for around the same timeframe?
Thanks,
Noemi

Hi Noemi, yes we can also make the 9 pallet delivery as well. Probably about $600. U-Ship will not allow me to leave my info but yes I can make that delivery also. Eddie
Hello, Eddie. Sorry, I am new to UShip it and was flagged for leaving my info (I wasn't aware that it wasn't allowed).
We are getting ready to make a final decision on a freight carrier and wanted to double check on something with you.
We are considering floor loading the total of 701 strollers cartons (we have done the math and they should fit in a 53 foot truck that's 9 ft. high). Instead of doing two separate shipments (26 pallets & 9 pallets), we may just go with one truck if it's the correct size. Can you please provide the inside length, height and width of your truck? Also, how long do we have to load/unload the truck?
Thanks,
Noemi
Hi Noemi,
Yes U-Ship will not allow the exchange of info. Once the bid is accepted then we will have each other's info. The trailer is 53 Ft long, 102 in wide and 13'6 ft high. I would recommend putting the rest on the floor to combine in one load if feasible. Now this will take some time to load and unload. Will the driver need to assist in loading and unloading, and how long will it take to load and unload? Maybe the rate will go up another $200.00 or so. Let me know what I can do ok! Eddie
Is the usable space 13'6" high? Most trucks are 8.5' - the tallest we've found so far has been 9'tall.
I don't think we will need the driver to help load/unload. It shouln't take us more thank an hour, hour and a half tops.
We currently have 35 pallets (each one being 48x45x91 inches). I'm trying to figure out if we could keep the strollers on pallets - maybe stack them??? Since they are already 7.5" tall, I don't think this is an option, hence the floor loading idea.
Hi Noemi, Yes you should be able to double stack some of the pallets; from front to back a 53" trailer will hold 26 standard size pallets; you can put the rest on top of the pallets and get it all fitted in the trailer. I don't see why it wont work. Yes you are right inside top to bottom is about 8.5, and ground up is 13'6. Even if you put them on the floor top to bottom, they should fit. Let me know if anything I can do! Eddie
Hello Eddie,
We would like to accept your bids for two shipments (one for 26 pallents - $1,079.67 and one for 9 pallets - $600).
Can you please post the second bid for the 9 pallets?
Thank you,
Noemi
