Additional Information: MARINA DETAILS :The boat is wrapped and ready. Shipping height is 11 feet, but add another 14 inches since we have a wood stock holding the plastic off the flybridge. Listed dimensions for the 260 are as follows: LOA is officially listed at 26 feet, but please add an additional 30 inches for the outboards aft clearance. BEAM is officially listed at 9'2 and that should be correct WEIGHT is 6000 lbs, but with the outboards and other gear we should be safe at 7500 lbs. If you can move this and drop it in the water once here, we're good to go - Let me know Report a Violation

Response: Jorge - The marina said NO PROBLEM on removing top wrap so we can do it. I am ready to go, the only question left is : What about permitting ? Do you have the permitting for this boat across state lines ? Some other transporter said it would need state permitting and could get impounded. Here's his email: "fyi that boat will require permits in every state for transport your low bid of 1600 is hard to compete with since the permits alone cost around 500.00 , make sure you get the permits faxed to you before the boat moves , no permit means impoundtill you get 1. I could do the haul for 2000. all permits included." Has this been considered ? I am ready to accept your bid...please place another bid (11/7/2009)
Response: technically you are correct. anything over 8'6' requires a permit. that being said, my trailer is 9'2" wide and has been up and down the east coast several hundred times in the last few years and i have never had a problem with any dot inspection in any state. i usually do not pull permits on anything under 9'6". i will place another bid, so think it over and let me know.
