Shipper, Based on your route in this listing the use of the Chesapeake bay bridge/tunnel is required and it has a height limit of 13'6" and the height of your boat is listed at 13'. Will anything be removed to give additional clearence and if not is the 13' height accurate? Scott

Response: The height is a guesstimate_i can measure it and let you know-it will take a few days to get it done-i am nearly certain it is not too tall for the tunnel.4/18/2010

May I respectfully suggest that you have no concept of the time and cost involved in undertaking this move, you will see by the feedback wether a transporter has experience or not, I could tell you I am brain surgeon but would you let me opperate on you ? I explained before that this is not the milage you think, possibly you cou re appraise your thoughts on cost and ask for re bids from highly qualified transporters and see the bids you get.

Response: I can tell you I am an Orthopaedic surgeon, and the bids received from reputable transporters have been more competitive than yours. The mileage is 390. If you don't want the job at the price in question don't bid.4/26/2010
