Additional Information: Hello. I was recommended by Joe and Lori from 1953igo. They agreed to run my 26' Wellcraft Cabin Cruiser on its trailer from Atlanta to Dallas last week. Joe picked up the trailer, but turned around after 30 minutes. He said that the trailer was in good shape, but that it never had brakes installed. Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana said that was fine. However, his wife called ahead to LA and TX to find out that any trailer over 3,000 pounds couldn't get past the Weigh Station without trailer brakes. The boat weighs 5,500 pounds. He said that you could put the boat / trailer on your flatbed and haul it for a nominal amount over what he would charge me to save on getting trailer brakes. Also, the marina is wanting me to remove the boat / trailer from their parking lot asap. The trailer has new bearings and bearing buddies. Joe's quote was $930. Can you give me a bid and move the boat this week or weekend?
