Question: We are based out of CT. I can pickup and deliver during your timeframe. We are DOT compliant and fully insured. We can offer service for $750 for door to door service. Please let me kno wif we can of service. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/10/2009)

Response: I am buying boat the broker is checking on the road worthiness of the trailer. If the trailer is no good, then I will be advertising to haul back on your transporter. Let me know if you have that capability and how much. Thanks (6/10/2009)

Response: The weight or width would not be a problem. The height is the problem for me. I have two trailers that can service the request but both trailer sit 38" off the ground (deck over trailer and a wedge trailer) and with your 10'6" height already on the trailer that would put us dangerously close to the 13'6" height restriction. Lets see how roadworthy the trailer is. I less than an hour from the pickup location in RI and I can head over and check the road worthiness myself if necessary. Let me know your thoughts. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/10/2009)

Response: Understood.I would prefer to have the boat hauled back on the trailer that came with the boat. I have not heard back from the broker about the status of trailer. My insurance company told me that it is imperative that the trailer is road worthy and legal. I would pay you to go over there to check out the trailer once I hear back from broker. If brakes are the issue, a new set of disc brakes could be installed on one or two of axles if necessary. I am planning to come up there for the sea trial and closure on Saturday June 20, 2009. I will not close on the purchase until the trailer issue is resolved.I appreciate your input and most likely pay you to check the sea worthiness once I hear back from the broker. Thanks (6/11/2009)

Response: I wouldnt charge my time to go to North Kingston to check on the road worthiness of the trailer. That is part of my job. I would want to ensure we know what we are getting into prior to transport. If you did select me to provide the transport I will already know the condition of the rig and be confident that we could solve any potential probelms that may arise. No one likes surprises! If you have pictures of the boat and trailer, that would be helpful, if you could post them here for us to view. I will be standing by. Just let me know what I can do to assist. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/11/2009)

Response: Brian,
I am ready to accept your bid, but I need clarification on following:
1. If I accept your bid and you go over to check trailer and it not good TO GO, then what.
2. I want the boat and may have to renegotiate the agreed selling price because of the trailer. I will be flying into Boston IAP on Friday June 19th, arriving at 8:30 AM and will be staying in West Warwick. On Saturday, June 20th I will attend the Sea Trial for the boat and close if A-OK, except for trailer issue.
If I accept you bid but do not accept the boat because of price, failed sea trial etc, what then relative to our contract? You and your company are the folks that I feel comfortable to do business.I can arrange for your to take a look at trailer before we transport. Need your feedback. I am ready to accept bid contingent on answering my questions. Thanks for your. (6/12/2009)

Response: Hello – If I go over and check out the trailer and it isn’t roadworthy, then I will have to use out other tri-axle boat trailer (which is in VA right now) to haul just the boat, if that is the direction you want to go. I have the ability to do the job but just need to know what we are working with. I think we have some height issues with the boat to try to load your boat and trailer onto my flat deck. I will know better once I get to take a look at it. Situations like this are hard to work out in the question and answer section here because there are a lot of moving parts. If you did accept my bid and we had to cancel (for what ever reason) then I would have a cancellation against my feedback (as would you) and you would get your deposit back through UShip. Let me know how you want to proceed. Brian LaJoie – Northeast Cargo Carriers, Putnam, CT (6/12/2009)

Response: I have pictures from the marine survey, but I am having difficulty uploading to this site. (6/12/2009)

Response: Those picutres would be helpful. Would the baot be going to another marina in VA or to your residence? (6/12/2009)

Response: Boat would be going to the Marina approximately one mile from my home address if use your trailer.. I live .5 miles from water. I can provide the marina address if needed. If boat cannot be towed with trailer that comes with boat, then I will utilize your 30' boat/bunk trailer or other. I do not need a trailer because I can motor the boat from the slip/dock to the numerous on water marinas for service etc. Those marinas have the capability to lift boat in/out of the water. Trailers are a real problems relative to the salt environment and corrosion. The marine surveyor told me the trailer did not have the brakes hooked up. Most likely rusted/corroded. I requested a status on the trailer form the broker early last week. (6/12/2009)

Response: Sounds like that trailer is not going to be an option. If the brakes arent hooked up, it would take some time and money to get the trailer in working order. I have two boat trailers, one is a 25ft bunk and the other is a 30ft tri-axle. How accurate is the weight of 7500 lbs that you posted on the ad? Did that include the trailer it was sitting on? I know Albermarle's are heavy boats but I want to get the weight correct. The place is North Kingstown, is that a marina with normal business hours. If I need to get the trailer from VA, then that will take some coordination on my end. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/12/2009)

Response: The boat weight dry is $7500 lbs without trailer. I do not know how much fuel is on board. Two diesel fuel tanks at 140 each. One tank full = 1120 lbs. I do not think that both tanks would be full. Max weight with two full tanks is approximately 9900 lbs. If the trailer is not road ready, I do not want to buy the trailer, they can keep it and reduce the price accordingly; therefore it will not be coming back unless my boat is on it ready for the road. Either scenario, you will be towing on your trailer or mine if road worthy. The marina sells yachts and it would be most unlikely for then not to have regular business hours. I could make arrangements keep boat there if necessary to allow time for you to get your 30' up here. I am flexible with the delivery dates. I am in no hurry. It took me since December to buy this boat (6/12/2009)

Response: Does the boat have inboards? The weight is defn to heavy for my 25ft bunk trailer here. I'd have to get the trailer from VA. Like I mentioned earlier, I'd feel more comfortable looking at the setup first. I could meet you at the sea trial next Saturday in RI if you are coming in early. However you want to work it out is fine with me. I was thinking this was going to be a tow haul so now that it appears to be pushing in the direct haul route with my bigger boat trailer, I am going to need some time to get my ducks in order and the trailer north. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/12/2009)

Response: The weight includes an inboard diesel. I concur with meeting you to look at the setup first to ascertain what is required. I can meet you at [address removed] on Friday, June 19th at 3 PM or any time after. The trailer is a: Sportsman, Model FL2757,Capacity 9,000lb, with three axles. The sea trial will be conducted on Saturday, June 20th in the morning. The boat will be delivered to the BWC Marina on Thursday and put into water for the sea trial. You will have time to get your duck in row. Jubster345. (6/13/2009)

Response: How did the survey go? Is the trailer going to be able to be pulled? Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers (6/24/2009)

Response: Yes, the boat will be able to be pulled on this trailer. You will need transport tags. The trailer is galvanized steel in very good shape. Tires are radials with lots of thread. I am having installed:
(1) Disc brake complete kit with matching actuator
(2) New LED lights installed.
Trailer will be ready to roll next week. You have not placed a bid?
(6/25/2009)

Response: Hello - I havent placed a bid just yet. When are you looking to have his delivered? When will all be ready to go? I would be looking at the week of the 6th or so. I can provide verifible cargo insurance to cover your boat. Brian - Northeast Cargo Carriers. (6/26/2009)

Response: Brian,

Question: Bauer Servicves - Heading to ME today or Tuesday morning. Coming right back on Wednesday, no time off. Please let me know if trailer will be ready by Wednesday. I can pick up in the morning and delivery would be Friday. Jesse (6/29/2009)

Response: I sent an E-mail about the status of trailer. At this time I would say that the shipment would not be ready to go. I am not with Dare Marine, but live within two miles of Dare Marina. Sorry about the delay with my trailer. Jubster345 (6/29/2009)

Response: Bauer Services - OK I will be heading to ME in the morning. If it will be done Wednesday, just book it. I will pick it up. Jesse
