250 foot microwave tower & small pre-cast shed
Shipment Details: A 250 foot microwave communications tower, weighing less than 20000#. This tower will be craned on to your trailer. There is a pre-cast concrete equipment shed and related equipment also. I do not know the overall weight. My gut feeling is that this will take two 45 foot trailers. (Remember, height requirements.) You will have a crew to load it and help strap it down.
Packaging: This is an open tower and a pre-cast concrete equipment shed. There will also be a crate of loose hardware, cables and several dishes.

Dimensions(s):Each segment is 20 foot, each face is 36". The dishes are between 4' and 8'.
Total Weight:20000 lbs

Preferred Truck or Trailer:Flatbed
Special Permit Required:No

Additional Information: This is for a non-profit and needs to be done as soon as possible. (Friday is preferred.) My appologies to all of you who have bid on this, but the shed was given to us at a rediculously low price...

Question: hello, is it possible to put this on a 40' flatbed once broke down into sections (3/30/2007)

Question: if you can get it all loaded on a flat bed truck 48' to 53' your max bid is alot closer to what your looking at as far as cost, there isnt any freight coming out of salt lake city hasnt been for months, is the reason why, and drivers/companies know this and billies pick up truck is probably not going to handle this load to well.if interested let me know, thnks don. Question: ive got a 42 foot flatbed and can carry 22000#, will this fit safely on my trailer? if so i can do for total bid of 2900.00 (3/31/2007)

Response: I have a new pckup date of 4/26/07 and would perfer a lowboy trailer for the 12'x10'x12' precast bldg and remember there is a 280' trailer with antennas which will be broken down in 20' sections (4/20/2007)

Question: You should also know Landstar does not own any trucks either. All owner operators that lease to them. There is no forced dispatch so they have to throw it out to the drivers and try to get one to take it. They make about 30% of the bid (drivers only get 72% of 98%). Many times an independent can do it for less & he will make more that if he takes it from someone like landstar or Freightquote. (4/6/2007)

Question: Do you still need this service provided ? If so, what is the dimensions of the pre-cast concrete shed. Do you want the trucks sitting on site as the tower is taken down and loaded or is the tower down and ready to load. (4/12/2007)

Response: Yes I have a revised pickup date of 4/26/07. the precast bldg is 12x10x12 and would best be put on a lowboy trailer (4/20/2007)
