$3000 for a 48-53 flatbed max weight 46klbs

Response: When would you be able to pick up the hay? How do you need this amount paid? CC? I have worked this out and it is too high for the cost of the hay. Could you do it for $2500 which I am told is the going rate for shipping hay, about $100 per ton. Thank you.
4/19/2012
Response: : yes, credit card or paypal via our website for the first load and I can work with you on the rate to make it work
4/19/2012
can get you loaded before the weekend unless we go too low with the rate. basically, the lower we go the longer it takes to find a willing truck

Response: Rick, I would like to move ahead with this if you can. I have secured the hay and would like to get you to get it here soonest. Please let me know how we proceed from here.

what size and shape are the bales, and do you want it tarped?

Response: I will have to find out the answers to that tomorrow, I will send a message as soon as I speak to the grower. I will ask his advice on the tarping.
4/19/2012
Response: : as part of my service, I can talk with him to make sure the right truck is sent in. I moved 150 hay loads last season using all equipment types. I would also ask how you intend to unload it. Flatbeds are easy, but cost more than vans. If a van can be used to load/unload, then I could save you a few hundred dollars per load. - Rick
4/19/2012
Response: I have sent a text to make sure the hay is still available, he said he had another buyer when we spoke late yesterday. I have asked whether a van could be used, and when he replies tomorrow I will send you his number and I will make arrangements to buy the hay and to pay you for the shipping. I can get a squeeze at this end, I will ask him how he loads the hay at his end.
Thanks so much,
Liz Rick, how do we move forward with this? I have secured the hay, and would like to make arrangements for you to pick it up,
Liz
4/19/2012
Response: : No problem Liz. If your grower is out, I can get you alfalfa, 15% grass for $205/ton out of Montana. I personally don't know anything about hay or if this rate is high or low. I only know that these bales go to large dairy farms several loads at a time and I could arrange some in your direction or anywhere for that matter.

Response: Ron still has the hay. His phone number is [phone number removed]
He wants me to send a check with you for the hay, but will you be coming from here?
Can I pay you with Credit Card?
Liz
4/19/2012
Response: : just accept my bid. I really need to talk to your hay guy to figure out what type of truck you need
4/20/2012
Response: Have not done this before, but it says there are no bids on this.
I spoke to Ron today and he would prefer a flat bed for loading, but I must say the hay being safely in a van suits me well. How much hay can you get in the van was a question he had.
