Additional Information: 25'2" rowing shell, about 50 lbs, approx 24" wide x 24" high with rigging removed and secured to hull. No oars. Many transport methods will work and I am open to your suggestions, just needs contact points to be well padded, secured with nothing on top of it. Ideally travels upside down on 2 padded surfaces about 4-6 ft apart & strapped down, preferably with bow and stern ties if exposed to wind. For ideas, see pic of OEM cartop setup at http://www.littlerivermarine.com/images/acc-cartop.jpg. Training boat so not as fragile as an elite racing shell. Small skeg on bottom near stern. May be dirty & wet when picked up. Must be picked up at point of origin but am open to cost saving suggestions regarding delivery. Not a high value item so not cost effective to ship by itself. According to Mapquest, the pickup location is approximately 40 miles and 50 minutes north of I-94 from St. Paul / Minneapolis. Outside pickup and dropoff. A bit awkward, but typically manageable by a single person unless extreme lift height is required. Can possibly arrange for load/unload help at both ends. If enclosed trailer it needs to be at least 26 ft - won't fit diagonally in 24 footer. Report a Violation
