If you were willing to put tires on it, I can check, adjust and repack wheel bearings and bring it to you right after Thanksgiving. Tires are pretty cheap and Id bring it for 1300.00 including the bearing check/repack. Then at least you would have tires on it when it got there. Just an option, let me know. The savings would just about pay your tires. Thanks RogerReport a Violation
Response: Roger, that would be a workable solution since the trailer itself is in excellent condition (except for the tires). I will have to check with the state of Texas DMV to see what would be required to get a temporary tag since it is not registered. If I can get the registration and tires, your offer would be acceptable. I will check on it and reply back. Thanks, Dave11/18/2011Report a Violation
Response: I have transport tags so you wont need to worry about that until after you get it. It will also be covered under my insurance so you wont need to register it until it gets there unless you just want to. Thanks, Roger11/18/2011Report a Violation
Response: Thanks Roger...that's some good news. If you want to pick it up sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I will order the tires and have them sent to the Texas address. I'll have to make sure the gentlemen who is storing the boat can get it over to the local tire shop to get them installed, then it should be no problem. I will call him today and let him know the plan. 11/18/2011Report a Violation
Response: Ok Ill go ahead and make the bid and when you get it ready just let me know and Ill schedule it in then. Im waiting on some repairs to be made to one in Massachussets and I dont really think it will be ready until after Thanksgiving but No problem at all getting it picked up between Thanksgiving and Christmas and then I can bring it straight to you if you want, weather permitting or I can store it free02 as long as needed at my storage facility in Tennessee. Thanks and we appreciate the business, Roger11/18/2011Report a Violation
Response: Thanks Roger. I will go ahead and accept the bid but am in no hurry to get the boat (since we won't be using it until April) so schedule it for whenever it makes the most sense to you. I'll get it ready as soon as I can. Working long distance by phone through the elderly guy that's storing it for me. Will let you know when the tires have been put on. Thanks again for all your assistance. What are your payment terms/requirements? 11/18/2011Report a Violation
Response: Good deal just let me know. You can pay cash when I deliver it or you can pay through uship payments. When you accept the bid uship will give you options and you can choose whichever one you are comfortable with. Thanks again, Roger11/18/2011Report a Violation
