Response: Question asked by Transporters: Will shipper pallet or skid? Answer That is my plan, I am waiting on their reply, and I will need to send additional money for pallet prep. They have not given me a response yet. Then they only accept money orders, no PayPal or credit cards, I will overnight payment to them as soon as they respond. If not I am willing to pay shipper to strap to pallet. I have the same motor that is froze so I am not worried about scratches or dings externally. I am willing to pick the motor up at a hub in OKC. If that is easier, The motors weight is 355lbs when strapped to pallet using 4x4 on the sides of the oil pan. It does not need to be done that way since I have an extra oil pan anyway. If it gets a dent I put on mine. I plan on replacing gaskets anyway so it would be no big deal. Thank you, Steven Hipp US ARMY RETIRED (4/26/2008)

Response: understand & a common carrier type carrier will not accept this item "loose" or not being palletized / skidded ... so if the shipper (seller) is being a bit uncooperative in this department, then perhaps a contract type carrier would be willing to accept loose on the deck with some blocking & strapped down or like in the back of a pick-up (private individual?) ... a commercial carrier would probably shy off from accepting it for carriage in this manner unless it was a tin scow wagon (scrap hauler) ... good luck (4/27/2008)
