Questions for this shipment: Ask a Question

Question: We could do this for you but it would be in a few trips we can only handle up to 10k per load let us know and we will place bid.and if this works would you like price per load? (10/19/2007)
Response: that might work if the cost per load averages out to about the same as 1 large(1 trip ) load. Please let me know a price per load and we can go from there : ) Thank you ! (10/19/2007)
Response: hi,just wondering if youve had any luck starting to ship your hay?and what price your looking at per load? (11/3/2007)
Question: I can haul 17000lbs for $900 if you are interested I will submit a bid,Thanks Kenny (10/19/2007)
Question: how will this load and unload? I can do it asap for 2.5 mile full load.. (10/22/2007)
Response: do you have a double trailer??? How many tons can you haul? Thanks for reply~ (11/28/2007)
Question: I have a 30ft trailer. I can haull 16000 lb. (11/9/2007)
Question: Don't know if this would be of any help but I am heading to Spokane from Great Falls on the evening of the 1st with an empty 18x7ft open trailer with a 8k cap and 3/4 of a long bed open. Any interest? (12/29/2007)
Response: Yes,I am interestd :) IF the price is really right ; )I would like a double semi but I would still like to get some hauled any way I can. Am I understanding you right that you have a 18x7 ft trailer and the back of a 3/4 ton truck available for hauling hay??? Mymain supplier is closed from x-mas thru new years. BUT I have several contacts in Great Falls and around that area. What would you charge???? Are you specificly emoty in Great Falls or just close to there???If I find hay somewhere close could you still haul it from around that area???? Also the total weightyou could haul in the trailer is 8 K ? Thank you for eply Please respond asap and I willtry to put it together FAST!!! thank you , Kim (12/29/2007)
Response: Yes, I have an 18x7ft open deck twin axle trailer completely empty and a long bed on 3/4 Dodge that will be 90% empty(except for luggage and tools, etc) available. I reside about 20 minutes west of GF and am heading to Spokane and Seattle to pick goods bound for the east coast. I would rather not deadhead 700 miles just to make my first pick up so as I saw your listing I figured maybe I could haul something for some money instead of nothing for no money and still have to burn fuel that whole way and all I could find here going that way was cats, dogs, prostetic limbs(......don't think so). My trailer has a GVW of 7k but I had her customized with twin 5k axles and heavier hydraulics so now she's good for 10k. I figured safely she could carry 8k. She is a 2008 H&H. Deck is about 18 inches off ground. I carry 6 sets of 10k straps with me. I have never hauled hay before so you tell me what you have and how much and we'll see if we can make it work. I leave on evening of the 1st. (12/29/2007)
Question: I also go to the east coast about twice a month and almost always have fist pick ups in either ID, WA or OR. 90% of the time I do wind up deadheading in that direction just to head back east again but that's where all the good paying cross country loads are. Technically my truck is just a 3/4 ton long bed 4x4 but I recently upgraded the rear suspension with 2 ton Timbrens(I'm hard on suspensions). Take a look at the profile pics. Again I know nothing about hauling hay, what it weighs, what sizes, prices. Only thing I know about it is how to grow it, swath it, stack it and don't throw a lit cigarrett on it as I used to do it for Doug Standley( the harvesting part of it:-) Got kicked one too may times so I quit( the angus have a thing about being tended to by a girl with hair longer than theirs) so tell me what you got and what she pays and how quick we can get loaded. (12/29/2007)
Question: Hello From SS Expediting, I may have a Truck and a 22 foot flatbed trailer in Great Falls on Thursday, would it be of any help to you if we loaded as many tons as we can on our trailer back to Spokane? Let me know asap Thanks Rich (1/8/2008)
Response: sure, I have called and am working with the hay company to see what I can set up(this short notice but it may be doable ).What is the trailer weight capasity??weight limit you can haul? The truck (1 ton or3/4 bed??? Are you deadheading to Spokane with an empty trailer????What would you charge me to haul it?? They load and I unload with machines. Probably would be the large square bales /or possibly the smale squares.Do you have tarps??? also can you send a number to reach you to dicsuss if I can get something set up ??? Thank you , Kim (1/9/2008)
Question: (1/10/2008)
Response: Understand that but if you read my last contact with you prior to x-mas time you had me waiting on a response for two days with nothing. You would've told me that from jumpstreet I would've booked something else instead of waiting on you. I'm a woman of my word as you can see from my profile so when you tell me to hang on you have something...that's exactly what I do for you. I don't like telling people "sorry I can't do it anymore". Go back and read our last email. (2/9/2008)
Question: we move hay for major buyers in the basin area...our rate from that area weather protected is 42.50 ton..interested? (1/29/2008)
Question: Are you still looking to move this load? seeayeb (2/7/2008)
Response: yes, Really need to know how it would be hauled as if I dont haul at least 25 tons,BIG trailer/semi or 2 pups it really wont pencil for either or us. Unless you are deadheading back from there(Great Falls or I also have a source in Kalispell and Townsend) and can haul a substancial amount for about 2.00 a mile.If this is what you have I would love to talk and get a bid. THank you , Kim (2/9/2008)
Response: I have been responsible for almost 600 tons of hay moving from the Uship site since I joined last month. I will have you a full size semi trailer to move your hay. With that, we will be able to haul up to 46,000 pounds per load, which is about 23 tons per trip. The price figures out to 1.99 per mile which is what that lane is paying. As soon as you accept my bid, we can get to work lining up the transportation and get this behind you.. Chuck (seeayeb) (2/9/2008)
Question: Is this load still available? (2/8/2008)
Response: Yes , See answer to above : ) (2/9/2008)
Question: With regards to your last response the other transporter....if that was the case why didn't you advise me instead of leading a person on and then never answering back. Hard to take anyone serious on those terms. Is this even a real listing????? (2/9/2008)
Response: Never led you on until I found out the size of transport and as I said in the second response unless you can haul 25+ tons in one deadhead load back for under 2.00 a mile ONE way it doesnt pencil for either of us. I have not agreed to take anyones bid.Just trying to get hay to spokane for a resonabletransport price. As far as different locations>>>I just got the contacts in the last week. Please if you can make small loads and average them out to a large load price I would gladely consider. Kim (2/9/2008)
Response: Go back and read your last email to me before x-mas....I even left the price up to you since I had a small trailer. Not trying to be argumentative but I was under the impression we had something going west. You tell to hang on that's what I will do. I do this for a living and keeping my word is priority one. Other providers see this pattern and they tend not to take it as serious especially with a gazillion other listings ready to go. Again go read your last email and you'll see what mean. (2/9/2008)
Question: i will deadhead two trucks to great falls from spokane as often as you need for a full load of hay on each for 1300 a load its a little over your 2 dollars but that will cover the deadhead for me i have a 45 foot step and a 40 foot doube drop no tarps im available this week for two loads let me know and ill send out the trucks cod and ill turn around to get another load (2/12/2008)
Response: Hi, I have not responded to your bid because I keep getting SUCH FLACK from some of the people on uship that have placed questions and bids. I tried to explain as best I could,I have a flexable schedule with the hay sellers in various ares but as anyone knows....I have to set it up with them at least a week in advance.and the market right now is scarce for hay . My supplier in Great falls,Hilger, area does have hay and I called her first thing MONDAY AM she is trying to get a load together for me. IWOULD REALLY LIKE TO USE YOU FOR SHIPMENTS AS it Appears you have a SEMI and can actually Haul 24-25 tons.in one trip which is the only way it would pencil for both of us. PLEASe email back or post if you are still interested in doing the load. I am planning on hauled ALOT of loads this summer as I have a supplier in Lewiston that can get me ALL the hay I need after its baled this summers crop.I am talking 50-100 loads. Thank you for replying to my ad . I WOULD GLADLEY USE YOU IF YOU CAN (2/26/2008)
Question: We will be in Great Falls this evening and gould take 7 ton to spokane for you if that would be of any help to you. (2/16/2008)
Response: HI, What size trailer do you have? I called my hay people and they have 2 places to pick up hay around Great falls. One is Hobson?and the other melville , both are around 50-100 miles outside great falls. Need to know size of trailer and if you could go outside great falls for pickup. ALSO need to discuss a price for deadhead back to Spokane and like I had said in the listing unless you are having to head back anyway and just need a few hundred bucks to bring to Spokane it wont pencil for either of us~ THe hay can be paid for in advance and they load so just the off path miles and return time are the factors. Please email ASAP as I have the people on hold for hay awaiting size of trailer to figure the load. THank s, Kim (2/16/2008)
Response: Sorry for the delay in response toy you. We were on our way through Great Falls to Spokane. There was a difference of opinion with my relief driver so we just dead headed on in to Montana. Sorry to have caused you any problems. If I am in the area again I will get in touch. I can only haul 7 ton. (2/18/2008)
Response: THank you , for getting back to me I found a couple SMALL loads but unfortunatly I didnt here back , and you left the area. Please feel free to let me know when you are there again and maybe we can work something out. thxs (2/26/2008)
Question: HELLO IS ANYBOIDY OUT THERE I AM ASSUMING YOU REALLY DONT WANT ANYTHING HAULED YOUR JUST SEEING HOW MUCH TO CHARGE SOMEONE ELSE FOR HAULING IT OR SOMETHING..I HAVE OFFERED YOU 80 FEET OF DECK SPACE 14 FOOT HIGH ON A ROUND TRIP TO GREAT FALLS AND BACK FOR 1300 IF THATS NOT A GOOD DEAL AT THE PRICE OF FUEL AND PERMITS ETC ETC THEN IM SORRY BUT A GUY HAS GOT TO MAKE A LIVING SOME HOW IF I CUT THE NEXT GUYS THROAT THEN WE ALL LOOSE (2/18/2008)
Response: Hi I just got the ad/bid(u-ship) this weekend and called the hay people asap MONDAY am. They are working on setting up a load. As I said in the above response I didnt accept your bid as I havent CONFIRMED the hay . It takes a couple of days. I would accept your bid of $565 1 way if I get the load order secured. As I said above I am going to need at least 50-100 trips ,one way hauls(deadheads to SPokane from great falls, lewiston area) this summer as I have the hay secured as soon as the 2008 crop is baled.SO I AM GOING TO NEED SOMEONE FOR THIS ALSO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED~ If I can get this load setup with the hay company I will need 2 -5 loads hauled before the summer crop. (2/26/2008)
Question: You have been playing games with all of us on this load since October. I do not really believe you want anything hauled. Why don't you do us all a favor and pull this listing down so we can focus on real loads instead of trying to work with you. (2/22/2008)
Response: NOt sure about your Price?????1300 is high if you are charging me for roundtrip ,if you are only charging me half of that for a deadhead run from great falls to spoknae ,that is workable . I have an offer of $500.00 to deadhead from greatfalls area to Spokane if you are talking about half of the $1300 , That is the other offer if you could match. Ya know I am just trying to get hay hauled from great falls area, to Spokane ONE WAY if it worked out for someone to deadhead here and could pay for that leg of a trip ,I think someof the people on here should really switch to DECAF and practice a little PROFESSIONAL KINDNESS in the Language/response department~ (2/26/2008)

Response: I need a least a couple days to set up order/pick-up. I didnt get your message til 5:00 tonight and montana is an hour ahead and the hay business is closed at 4;00 their time and not open on weekends. I would love to get a couple of loads!!!!! I just need alittle warning~ What are you thinking for rate/price???Let meknow and I can possibly try to call a friend there and see if I can line up a load.Probably wil be more expensive for hay but let meknow what you would charge(roughly) and maybe it could work~ Thank you for contacting me on the haul ~ LET ME KNOW~ : ) Kim Please let me know if you are headed that way IN ADVANCE and we can get it done~ (4/4/2008)

Question: Good morning, I sent you a message a long time ago and by the time that I got an answer from you we were already past Great Falls. Well once again I'm in the area and would be interested in hauling some hay for you. How ever I can only haul around ten ton at a time. Would that be of any help to you. It looks like I may have a deal worked out where I could do at least one load a week for you. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Carrie (7/4/2008)
Response: Hi , Thanks for emailing! when are you going to be in great falls?? Also what is the BEST PRICE ONE WAY per trip you can get me ?? I may be able to set up alot of trips(1 way ) if I can get a screaming deal on the back haul. I was hoping for more tons per load (hence fuel costs) but if we can work out something that is comparitive to hauling 24-25 tons (price per ton shipping breakdown0 that would be great! THanks, Kim (7/4/2008)
Question: Hopefully your animals haven't been waiting for this hay the whole time this has been listed. If so, I feel bad for them. (7/7/2008)
