Additional Information: Still working out the details for this boat, and I am hoping for an estimate on shipping costs. The trailer is in fairly good shape, but has the following issues:

- brakes are not working
- front trailer tires have excellent tread
- rear trailer tires have adequate tread (approaching wear bar)

The boat has been "rubbing" on the bow-guard. I would like particular attention paid to this area so more fibreglass is not worn away.

There are two tie-down straps on the transom of the boat holding the boat to the trailer.

There is a bimini top, and I'm not certain it would fit into the cabin for shipment. Would it be able to fit inside the seating area securely?

John I can do it for 600. That includes us doing something about the boat rubbingReport a Violation
Hi Jon, Ryan here with Hodge's Towing & Recovery LLC, we're based on Sebago lake right here in Maine. I specialize in Marine transport, and I'm a lifelong boater. I'm VERY particular! I prep every boat for transport as if it were one of my own. I can provide everything needed to get this home safely! I'll place a bid for your consideration and good luck on the sale. Let me know if I can be of assistance.Report a Violation
Jon, an after thought...bow rollers are fairly cheap, I'd be more than willing to change it out before transport, and yes, I can do it with the boat right on the trailer. I service boat trailers as well, seems this one might need a thorough going over once you get your new boat in the water. Report a Violation
Response: Hello Ryan - I like your idea about replacing the bow rollers. There are two of them, and I'd definitely be willing to pay for two of the "yellow" ones. (currently has black) Right now I am still working on the purchase process (having a survey on the boat). So I do not have a firm ship date, nor is the boat actually mine right now. Should I "accept" your bid, even though there is a chance I would NOT purchase the boat? Sorry for my questions, first-time uShip user here... PS - I would also be interested in some trailer work after she's in the water. Thanks for your bid!8/7/2014Report a Violation
