Questions for this shipment:
Question:
what are the total miles (3/23/2008)
Response:
2350 to Blaine. (3/23/2008)
Question:
when will this be ready to go? we are a dot compliant carrier with full coverage insurance are you getting this trailer from american trailer? (3/24/2008)
Response:
We are paying for these trailers as we are getting them picked up. This one should be released tomorrow.(Wednesday) Let's say Thursday at the latest. Atlas in Elkhart. (3/25/2008)
Question:
I see you advertise in here alot - do you have or do you require a MC# and DOT#?? The reason I ask is that I deliver RV's but don't have the authority #'s anymore due to the cost so I leased onto a company to haul. I'd love to use your 51' trailer to haul for you. (3/25/2008)
Response:
The last guy that hauled our Tex did it under his MC/DOT. He just hooked up,threw his plate on and off he went. Because we are a Canadian Co.,operating authority in your country is a pretty complicated deal for us. We are looking to hook up with someone that has it and run our own trailer and or tractor that way. Right now,I just don't know what the hell we are going to do. We are just trying to get our sold trailers back here without losing too much money. We are making contact with people such as yourself along the way who know the business and eventually we will get it worked out. We know squat about trucking. We will find someone to take care of it for us,whether it's with our truck or theirs. Keep in touch. Grant (3/25/2008)
Response:
Grant, I have an idea about your dilemna what is the name of your company so that I can look it up and present it to you. (3/28/2008)
Response:
Toss it at me on here. I can't take a chance of being flagged. I need trailers moved. What do you have in mind? Grant (3/28/2008)
Question:
Grant, Do you have a transport plate for the trailer? (3/29/2008)
Response:
No. I thought you guys carried those things. I'll look into a permit. (3/29/2008)
Response:
I have hauled a few trailers the private ones have plates the new ones get transport tags from dealers, as far as i know, Im trying to crunch the numbers to make this work, i need to make a living not just travel . I hope you understand, Thanks. Steve (3/29/2008)
Response:
I have a small car car to put in this trailer now. Close to Elkhart. Comes right here. Trip is worth $2400.00 now and the trailer is big enough that you can probably get something else that's small in. I'll look into a permit. Let me know if you have any interest. (3/29/2008)
Response:
OK. (3/29/2008)
Response:
I won't accept your bid until I'm absolutely sure that the car is paid for and ready to go. I'm being told it's good to go on Monday, but you know how these ebay deals are. I will let you know when I have confirmation. Thanks. Grant. (3/29/2008)
Response:
Grant, I am not afraid of not getting the car there are others that i can get, and am working on as we speak, Just accept the bid and that way we can talk in private with out the world watching. Thanks, Steve . (3/29/2008)
Question:
Hi Grant, i have already picked up a motorcycle and working on some more for the back of my 2004 4x4 dodge dually, We are also working with a company hauling their trailer to Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada on occasion, They can help with info for future hauls to Canada for you. My wife is the one that goes into Canada. As far as a transport tag, It is a simple process, I can get one from D.M.V. Or most trailers we have hauled have them already from the dealers. Ether way its not a problem. We carry 25.000 in cargo ins and can upgrade if needed. We just call our insurance company and they fax a certificate of insurance directly to you. since we don't need to go into Canada i will do this haul. And i am flexible on timing, Can we do this? Thanks, Steve. (3/29/2008)
