Additional Information:
This is a brand new trailer I'm looking to have delivered prior to Thanksgiving or just after. To bring down the cost, the trailer can be loaded for another shipment and towed. However, I will be reselling at a later point so I would just want the inside clean (no oil stains. etc) and the outside undamaged.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello, I've placed a bid to transport your trailer, it will be hauled, not towed, and will not touch pavement until delivered to you and of course not used either. I specialize in trailer transporting, please feel free to view my profile and the pics it contains of trailer loads I've done of hundreds. Thank You, cadmike6770 (11/5/2009)
Question:
I can do this for you and keep it clean. I need at least 2 weeks to deliver if you accept the bid now. Can we do this for $1100? (11/6/2009)
Response:
I'm looking for a lower bid. As I've mentioned to others and is mentioned in the listing, I don't mind if it's used to haul goods as long as it's clean inside (ie.. oil spots, etc) and out when delivered. I would like to sell this probably next June. Additionally, the trailer may be available on 17 Nov but will definitely be ready for pickup on 18 Nov. I would want the trailer by 30 Nov for a local move. (11/6/2009)
Question:
Will you have a spare tire and put a temp tag on for the trip? Thanks again cperk22. (11/6/2009)
Response:
The trailer will be brand new with new tires. I may buy one prior to pick up but that's TBD. Also, when the trailer is picked up it will have a 30 day temporary tag. Thx (11/6/2009)
Question:
Can the factory have it built by the 13th? If so, thenoger I could get it to you before thanksgiving. let me know (11/7/2009)
Response:
I can ask the question but I suspect they're waiting on the heaver 7K axles and it may not be ready for pickup until at the earliest 17 Nov. I'll call them on Monday. If you couldn't pick up until 17 Nov when could you deliver. I will be moving starting 30 Nov so I really need the trailer by then if not by Thanksgiving. I've also sent you a message concerning price. It appears that you have a good rating but may be out of my price range. I would need to know your bottom bid. Thx (11/7/2009)
Response:
Let me know the pick up date and I'll try to help. Thanks, Roger (11/7/2009)
Response:
Roger a couple quick things - Assuming I can get you the trailer by 17 Nov, would you be able to deliver by 30 Nov? Also, I mentioned before that I was looking for a bid $600-$800. Would you be willing to split the difference and make it an even $900 bid? (11/7/2009)
Response:
I would need to pick it up no later than the morning of the 16th in order to make the round-trip and be back to GA for thanksgiving week with my family on the 24th. I have offered you a great price, well below cost for a great service. Let me know if I can help you. Thanks, Roger (11/7/2009)
Response:
I have an email in to the dealer regarding if the trailer can be ready for pick-up on 16 Nov but won't hear back until Monday (when they're open). Please let me know when I could expect it delivered if you picked up on 16 Nov or 17 Nov. Regarding price I will not go over $925. Please let me know what you want to do. (11/7/2009)
Response:
thanks. (11/8/2009)
Response:
Please go ahead and rebid. I may use you... You also said that your only going to use it to haul golf carts, correct? (11/8/2009)
Question:
im in lancaster ca right up the street from your destination. i could do this for you no problem however i wouldnt be able to make your nov 30th deadline. im trying to make my way to ga for christmas and could bring this back with me if the dates arnt a problem and could come closer to your target price. i would need to haul something inside the trailer to make up for the costs but i can reassure you that it will be clean. just let me know, thanks (11/7/2009)
Response:
I wish I could wait a little longer. However, I need the trailer to move on 1 Dec. Thanks (11/7/2009)
Response:
no problem i totally understand. if anything changes please let me know (11/7/2009)
Question:
we will be in the area around the 20th and can bring it back to CA for you. Check our feedback - you can expect the same good service. (11/8/2009)
Response:
Please place a bid and let me know when I can expect the trailer and if you'll be hauling anything in it. If you are hauling something in it, I would just ask that you not haul anything that will leak or mark up the interrior since I'll be selling in a few months. (11/8/2009)
Response:
Bid is placed. If I transport anything in your trailer, it will either be something which cannot leak damaging liquids, such as furniture, or if it is something like a motorcycle which can leak colorful, petroleum-based goo, I'll place several layers of polyvisqueen sheeting as well as heavy tarpaulin to protect the floor. Most likely, I'll stick to furniture. (11/8/2009)
Response:
Sounds good on the tarps. I would like to keep the floor/ramp clean. Two final questions: 1) What is the lowest bid you could make to make this profitable for you? I hoping to keep costs around $600-$800 since the trailer could be used for transport. 2) If it's ready for PU on 17 Nov, when could I expect it delivered? Thx, Ryan (11/8/2009)
Response:
thanks for the quick reply. Time in transport will be approx 6 days. Frank will be heading home (Seattle) and wants to get here for Thanksgiving. Time constraints will limit the number of pick up and drop offs we can do - hence the higher bid. Let me check - wait 2 hours for the bid to drop. (11/8/2009)
Question:
Us again. doubt if we can pickup on 17th - 20th or 21st is more likely. Frank is home now - leaving on Tuesday. About 10 days to pick up. Our bid will drop - but cannot go below 905. Also, we have other bids out for towing on the return trip - our bid will cancel when another bid is accepted. (11/8/2009)
Response:
I just wanted to confirm a couple of things... 1) You have all the insurance, driver certs, and meet all the legalities to tow this trailer w/wo anything in it. 2) Regarding pick-up - The trailer may be ready for pick-up on 16 Nov (I have a call in to the dealer) but probably won't be ready until some time on 17 Nov. They are closed on weekends so Saturday, 21 Nov won't work for pick-up 3) When could I expect delivery. The sooner I could get the trailer the better as I have to move my goods 1 Dec and would like to load up before. 4) Just to confirm that tarps will be used in the inside to protect the walls and floors from marks and stains? I'll be selling this in a few months. 5) When you pick-up the trailer. I would ask that you look it over the trailer to ensure no damage and everything is put together and seated well. If there is just have the dealer fix it on the spot. I wouldn't expect any problems but you never know. (see next email) (11/8/2009)
