Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello this is Neal and Monica with A Sure Shot Transport. We can ship this trailer for about 700 if we can use it for transporting horses along the way. We appreciate your business. Hope to hear from you soon. (8/13/2009)
Response: Hi, what you are proposing sounds fine to me. How do we go about doing this? Some questions off the top of my head are: Do you have to register the trailer in your name to use it for horse transport? Who is responsible for trailer and liability insurance? One other thought I hate to mention but have to in today's world: What is our assurance that the trailer will actually be delivered to us once we pay for it and turn it over to you? I am not trying to imply that you are not honest, not at all, after all I don't even know you. But we need to be confident in all of this before we proceed so I have to ask the question. However I am new to all of this so perhaps you have some simple solutions that I am unaware of. Please get back to me, I look forward to working with you if possible. Thanks. David (8/13/2009)
Response: We carry insurance that covers any trailer. The trailer does need to be legally registered for us to haul it. As far as making sure that you get your trailer back we can take half on pick-up and half on delivery. We can have copy of insurance faxed, drivers liscence number and plenty of references if you wish. (8/13/2009)
Response: Sorry to be so long getting back to you. I have been working with the trailer dealer for most of the day but now the deal has fallen through. So I no longer have a trailer that I need shipped. Thank you very much for your offer though. (8/14/2009)
Question: Do you still need this done ? We are 100% Dot compliant, insured, have transport plates/tags,and wont put anything in or on your trailer. Thanks Philis.Ps please view our profile by clicking on our user name. (8/14/2009)
Response: Yes, I still need this done. I would like to have the trailer delivered to the Canada/U.S. border crossing at either Coutts or Sweetgrass in Montana. I listed Havre in the listing because it is the closest town that I knew of. If you are interested please let me know, thanks. (8/14/2009)
Response: Yes.We could do this for $1600 total.Have truck and driver ready at anytime. (8/14/2009)
Question: Also do you know if it has the round tube or square tube on the neck of the trailer ? I hope you know what I am talking about. We like to run a pop up industries neck extender,so theres no chance of hitting our sleeper if tight turn is made. Thanks Ed (8/14/2009)
Response: Hello, thanks again for your patience. The trailer dealer now informs me that the money I have wired to him will not be in his bank until late Monday. Would you be able to ship this trailer next week? Or even in the next couple of weeks if it works better for you? Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. P.S. The dealer tells me that the trailer has a round tube on the neck of the trailer. (8/14/2009)
Question: Well cant wait for a reply all day,so we thank your for your time and consideration. (8/14/2009)
Response: Sorry about the delay, I am in the process of transferring money to the trailer dealer to purchase the trailer. I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks for your patience. (8/14/2009)
Response: Yes,we can pick this up next week or the following week.To bad this could not be lifted onto our flatbed as we have a tractor going your way also.Let us know when your ready,or we can place a bid to reserve now. (8/14/2009)
Response: Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the deal with the trailer dealership has fallen through. I won't vent my frustrations as to why but the bottom line is that I no longer have a trailer that needs shipping. I thank you for your offer to deliver the trailer. Thanks and best wishes for your future success. (8/18/2009)
Response: Sorry to hear that... Well maybe in the future we can do some business. Keep us in mind. Good Luck Thanks, Philis (8/18/2009)
Question: Hello, Just making sure that you got my answer. I can load anytime next week. Wed. afternoon would be best. Delivery on Sat. Let me know what you think. Thanks Gunny (8/14/2009)
Response: Hi, received your answer. Thank you very much for the quick reply. I will contact you as soon as all of the trailer sale details are worked out. Thanks again, bye for now. (8/14/2009)
Response: Hello, I dont mean to bother you but need to know if this is a done deal so that I can line up a return load from Mont. Also would Sweetgrass crossing be a better place to make the transfer. Thanks Gunny (8/15/2009)
Response: Hello Gunny, you are not bothering me at all. I can't commit to this being a done deal right now. I wired the money to the trailer dealer on Friday. His business is in a small town on the outskirts of Texas. So apparently the money has to go to a large bank in Dallas and then be transferred to the dealers bank in his hometown. The dealer thought this would take until late Monday or Tuesday. However the bank that wired the money thinks it will take longer than that. I don't want to cause you any grief due to someone else's "errors". I can't guarantee anything right now because I am working with several third parties to make this all happen. Sorry to bore you with a long winded story but I really do want you to know what is going on. Once all of the funds are transferred and all the paper work is taken care of I will contact you. I am in no rush to have the trailer delivered so even if it takes you a few weeks I am okay with that. Sorry about all of this confusion. Thanks. (8/15/2009)
Response: Thanks for getting back to me. If you could give me a couple of days notice so that I can line up a return load. I am going to keep my schedule so that I can take care of your load for you. Thanks again. Gunny (8/15/2009)
Question: hello shipper will be in dallas later this week and heading out to livingston mt HOME would this be availble for pickup later this week with the right price to mt Thanks Dale (8/17/2009)
Response: Hello Dale, yes this trailer should be available for shipping later this week for the right price. A couple of things to be aware of. The trailer has a gooseneck hitch, not a fifth wheel hitch. Are you set up with both types of hitch? It looks like Sweetgrass would be closer to your home in Livingston then Havre. I would prefer to pick up the trailer at the Sweetgrass border crossing if this would work for you? Let me know what you feel is the right price and we can go from there. Thanks, bye for now. David (8/18/2009)
Question: Good Morning, JUst thought that I would check in with you to see how things are going. Let me know when you are ready and we will get it done for you. Thanks Gunny (8/18/2009)
Response: Hi Gunny, I am hoping to have some answers from the trailer dealer later today. Thanks for your patience, have a great day. (8/18/2009)
Response: Thanks for getting back to me David. talk to you later. Gunny (8/18/2009)
Question: I WOULD BE HAPPY TO MOVE YOUR HORSE TRAILER FOR YOU I HAVE A TRANSPORTER PLATE TO PLACE ON YOUR TRAILER. BE SURE TO CHECK MY REF BY CLICKING ON MY NAME AND THEN CHECK MY DOT NUMBER AND YOU CAN THEN CHECK INSURANCE ON FILE. (8/18/2009)
Question: Good Morning David, JUst thought that I would check in with you and see how it was going with the dealer. Look forward to talking to you. Gunny (8/19/2009)
Response: Good morning Gunny. I just talked to the dealer and the fund transfer has finally gone through. I really didn't know if this deal was going to happen but it is a go. The dealer needs a day's notice to prepare the trailer and make sure everything is in working order. Just to be sure I want to confirm that you aware that you will need a gooseneck hitch to pull this trailer, not a fifth wheel hitch. There is one other thing that I almost hate to mention. All of the quotes that I have received for transporting this trailer to Sweetgrass have been between $1500-$1600 dollars. You are obviously very good at what you do and I am very impressed with your feedback. I do not want to undercut your wages and I appreciate that a shipper with your level of service should be paid at the top end of the scale. However I am wondering if you would be able to transport this trailer for $1600. Please let me know what you want to do and I will contact the dealer. Talk to you soon. David (8/19/2009)
Response: Hello David, I am aware that it is a gooseneck trailer. That is not a problem. I can move it for you for $1600.00 to Sweetgrass, Mt. I would like to pick the trailer up on Friday if we can do that. Just let me know when it is best for you and we will go from there. Thanks Gunny (8/19/2009)
Response: Hello Gunny, I just got off the phone with the dealer. Friday works great for him. While waiting on hold for the dealer I was looking at your profile. Please accept my condolences on the passing away of your brother. I have also had a younger brother pass away. I hope all is well with your family and if transporting the trailer at this time is an inconvenience for you I can certainly wait. Thanks, talk to you soon. David (8/19/2009)
Response: Hello David, Thanks for the kind words. Moving the trailer will be very good for me. All I need for you is acceptance of bid so that we an exchange info and get the ball rolling. Thanks Gunny (8/19/2009)
