Question: We are a family runned business, my wife and myself are the owners and also the drivers, we transport with a new one ton dodge dually flatbed. we are fully insured with $750K libility and $100K cargo, our DOT#1557599 and MC#578038. We can do this for a dollar a mile, that's a little higher than some but we believe you get what you pay for. We do not use U-Ship that much, but we have transported many Boats, RV,s and trailers. Question: Are there lifts available to load this boat onto my 48 foot single drop trailer? You arrange and pay any fee associated with loading at the marinas. If no lifts available I can do it with a detachable trailer and the bid would be 3500 or 3000 for the single drop trailer. I think you may choose to have the tires and bearings serviced and let one of the bidders pull it to Tx. You could buy a set of tires for under 400 and bearings for another 100.Most of these drivers are placing good bids to pull your boat, I just gotta charge more to use a semi to haul it.
