Additional Information: We're considering making this trek ourselves, but it's a little crazy - from Knoxville, Tennessee to Georgian Bay, Ontario. About 14 hours. Apparently the trailer is in good shape, we're having it inspected (dual-axle trailer with 6 adjustable support pads, hydraulic surge brakes and 8-foot extension tongue). We've got an older chevy van, no experience hauling, and limited time. If someone could bring it at least part way for us (to the border even) for a good price, that'd be much appreciated. If someone wants to bring it all the way, that'd be great too! Report a Violation

Question: how many miles is it to the border from pick up point? (10/1/2009)
Question: What port is this coming out of in Knoxville? I wasn't aware there was a port in K town. Need more info about pickup point as to whether my bid needs to include fees required for pickup of boat. I may have to adjust it upward if there is more required to pick this up. Response: Hey Debbie! Good question. It's not a Port, it's a Marina (there wasn't an option to choose this from the list). We're going there Saturday, so we will know then if it's a place with any particular fees for pick up - i don't think so - the owner may actually take the boat out so it would be a pick-up from his residence, just outside of Knoxville. Should not be complicated at all. We will be in touch with you later on Saturday to let you know if we finalized the sale, if anything has changed, and (hopefully) to accept your bid! I think we can likely arrange for you and the boat to be met in Buffalo by family. We'll arrange this later too. Let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll be in touch soon. (10/8/2009)
Response: Sounds great. I didn't think there was any port there, but you never know I guess. I'm sure coming out of the marina will not be a problem and no extra fees as that is where I usually pick up from. It is usually included in the sale. Buffalo sounds good for me.
