Question: Stoffer... Keep under cutting and low balling bids and we won't have to worry long cause you will be out of business. You can't run your truck on good will forever. You are costing all of us money,Yourself included. At todays fuel prices no one should be bidding for less than a dollar a mile. If we all band together the shippers won't have a choice. Response: Listen, you want a quality service for a fair price don't you? Well you were willing to pay a fair price for a service. There are a lot of people out here that are trying to steal that service, and others are doing their best to give it away. Pretty soon you are not going to be able to get a quality service on here because everyone is going to be driving poorly maintained, broken down trucks, and you the shippers are gonna say what happened. Now if you want to do the right thing and send a message, don't pick the cheap guy just because he is the cheapest. Pick someone who gave you an honest bid of around a $1.00 to $1.25 and let them make a little money so they can continue to do what they do. (3/23/2008)
