Question: SHIPPER I NEVER REQUIRE A DEPOSIT. COD..........boats (3/28/2008)
Question: I am assuming this is going to Vancouver Island? If so I can transport there as I make many boat deliveries to Victoria & Nanaimo. Let me know either way so I can provide a quote to you. I AM A LEGAL AND FULLY INSURED CARRIER. Thanks. (3/28/2008)
Response: Hi, no the boat is going to vancouver. but i would like to pick up in the USA and do all the paper work myself. I would like it on a trailer but i'm open to bids. so what would it cost on a trailer. or on my trailer. Thanks Kevin (3/28/2008)
Response: Is the boat currently on a trailer? If so and your height is 11' it's to tall to be loaded onto a flat deck unless it is a "low boy" trailer. If it isn't on a boat trailer and I need to supply my boat trailer please let me know. If we load it onto our trailer it is $2 loaded mile. If we tow it on your trailer it is $1.40 loaded mile. Plesae clairfy the trailer situation. Thanks. Jeremiah (3/28/2008)

Question: we have a spot available for pickup friday or saturday of this week if we can book now we can get this to you really quick. pickup this weekend and delivery in 5 to 7 days due to having 34 hours off duty for the DOT please let us know and we will help you (3/30/2008)
Response: is the spot you have on one of your flat beds. also the boat sitting on the trailer is 10'9.5" tall. also you have not made a bid so how much? (3/31/2008)
Response: i am very sorry but we do not have an opening on our flatbed even if we did i dont think that it would work as our flatbed is 34 inches to the top of it and we would be too tall please let us know how we can help and we will (3/31/2008)
Question: Shipper, Do you want your boat and trailer hauled or towed? Most or all of you bids are from guys who want to bumper pull the boat even when the open trailer is in the bid, most don't know how to or can't change the bid option selection, Our Bid is for a "real" on (OUR) trailer bid, we load & haul on our trailer, ask, don't you assume the others are. We can bumper tow as well and it can be cheaper if it can handle it and is road worthy for the long trip... for you will be responsible for the trailer, welds tires, lights, brakes and axle bearings as well as ware & tare behind the bumper and truck wheels, minor road ware like unknown abrasion, rock chips and other, If so make sure the brakes & lights work, it's plated and insured, let us know and we will possibly give a cheaper bid to pull it understanding the abouve conditions. Thanks (3/31/2008)
Question: are you still looking for a shipper? (3/31/2008)
Response: yes i am. and i'd like to use your trailer option just clarifing dot# and other companies to. also the big one is the dealer has to have a part brought in and we are still waiting for it. what type of trailer do you have. is it a low boy. as the boat sitting on my trailer is. 10'9". Thanks kevin (3/31/2008)
Response: bids are way too low for this wt# on a trailer (4/4/2008)
Response: so what is your bid......... is it still 3600 loaded on your flat deck. I don't care what everbody else is bidding i'm looking for the best transporter and the best way to transport.. that being on a flat deck trailer.... Thanks remember the boat is 10'10" tall sitting on the trailer. if you don't want to do it just say so... The boat is ready for shipping. and i would like it delivered to bellingham for pickup on april 18-19. (4/4/2008)
Question: I have to cancel for you waited too long and we filled the load (3/31/2008)
Response: no problem. i'll contact you when i have the boat and parts all in and see if you can do it thanks for all your help. Kevin (3/31/2008)
Response: thanks (4/1/2008)
Question: Glad to a shipper check on dot&mc numbers, Thank You (4/5/2008)
Response: How much to ship on one of your trailers. the boat sits 10'10" tall sitting on my trailer. weight is just over 4500 so lets say 5000lbs +200 lbs in gear. What kind of truck and trailer do you have. i would like delivery on april 19 in the morning in bellingham or blaine. as i will be going across the border in to canada. so we can work out a pick up location that will work best for you. Thanks Kevin (4/5/2008)
Question: shipper. we just moved this boat & trailer for other customer of ours and it is 2 times the wt# you have listed. We can move it but it cost more in ware and tare and a lot more fuel (4/5/2008)
Response: just give me a price.......... The weight is what the specs of the boat are in the manual 3550lbs +500 for motor + 800lbs for trailer as it is alluminum... (4/5/2008)
Response: ok, I will check timimg and get back to you later today or in the morning, Thanks Team CJ (4/5/2008)
Question: Good afternoon! I was just reading through your listing to verify your preferrences. Your listing states your craft as being just under 11ft high on trailer. Legal limit is 13.6 ft. Is there any way to remove some of what you have pictured to get the height lower. Most decks are between 24 and 36 inches off the ground which would put this overheight. If lowering is not an option are you open to having her towed? I know you mentioned it previously but considering the height issue I was wondering what the options were considering the factors. (4/5/2008)
Response: tires and rims could be removed.... yes i would consider a tow on my trailer depending on what you have for mud flaps and if you have rockguard behind mud flaps.. i really do not want any rock chips!!! as this boat is in excellent condition. I would like to pick the boat up in bellingham or closer to the canadian border on april 18-19 the 19th is prefered in the morning. give me a price... i'm ready to get this moving... Thanks Kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: I completely understand. You have a very nice boat and I would be concerned as well. In the past I have wrapped the lower front of the hulls with a non-marring cover to prevent rock chips in the dead of winter(kind of like shrink wrap with a felt pad around the nose) with great success and at no additional charge. I also use skirting that I clamp onto the nose of the trailer being towed to deflect any debris. However, the dates would pose a problem. I always try to book well in advance and I am already booked through the end of April so I doubt I could be of any service during your requested dates. My soonest date would be in first to second week of the following month. Considering the route and current fuel prices, factoring in the rate of rise, my figure would have been 3200.00 total. (4/5/2008)
Response: Hi thanks for the reply you are the first straight forward person i've heard from. and would like you to do the move if you can fit me in anyway and deliver on the april 19th i would give you 3500 for the load..... Thanks kevin. if any other carriers can read this reply this is the service that I'm looking for. (4/5/2008)
Response: I would love to earn your business but I have already committed to servicing other customers around that date and I can't be late for them. In fact I have to be on the east coast to drop one and pick up another bound for WA around that time. I only have one truck otherwise I would definately make it happen for you right away. Is the 19th firm? (4/5/2008)
Response: well not totally firm,.... as i'm going fishing on the 15th of may and have a wedding on the 26 of april. what days are you thinking for delivery i'm open to try and work out what ever you have. but i do need to weekends to get the boat ready for fishing on the 15th of may. Thanks kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: What I have is those shipments I told you about that should put me back in WA on about the 30th. Then I have a short run taking me to IN that will put me in MT a few days later leaving the first to second week or May open(keep in mind that is allowing a few extra days on each leg for bad weather, repairs and whatnot). Everything going good I could meet your deadline but I don't like to promise anything I am not 100% sure of(tends to make shipments delayed and people upset). (4/5/2008)
Response: well i'm sorry i didn't hear from you earlier... but that just won't work for me. if you have a cancelation when you get to the east coast let me know........ the boat is ready for p/u. Thanks alot for your help know i just have to find somebody else with your pride. also what is the fabric that you use to cover the front of the boat.. Thanks Kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: The front of the boat(hull) is first covered with a soft but thick felt blanket and then wrapped with a single layer of shrink wrap up to the first set of bunks on the trailer. When the wrap is shrinked it holds the pad in under any conditions. The skirting is the same skirting you see on the big bus RVs you see on the rear. Instead of buying the whole kit I just bought 2 sets of the skirts alone with 4 c-clamps you can find at any hardware store and some old rubber inner tube material to prevent scratches on the trailer. I simply attach the skirting with the c-clamps on the toungue of the trailers I haul right along where they V out and they extend all the way down to about an inch from the ground. I couple that with 18 inch mudflaps on all 4s of my truck and Whodini couldn't get past them. Better to be considered overprotected than actually be underprotected. One of the routes on the east coast are sort of iffy so there may be a possibility but please don't hold me to it just yet. (4/5/2008)
Response: would you like to put a bid and i will accept. then i can give you my phone number. i don't know how this works. does it cost any money to do this if you cann't do the dilivery. Thanks kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: Technically it does but not to you. It will also be counted as a cancellation on my profile if I can't meet your deadline and a cancellation is sort of viewed as a neutral or negative(high rate of them and abuse by others in the past). What I can do is keep your listing on my watch list and see what developes on my end. If my other deosn't go through and you don't find someone by then the I will jump on it immediately. But if my other route goes ahead then I have to disappoint someone and I don't like doing that. I have given them my word that I would be there so I have to at least be there on that date. If it doesn't go through with them I would only be a days drive from your boat so either way I could be at the ready. That is probably the safer thing to do. That way if someone qualified gives you a good bid you don't lose out on their services if I can't do it(saves you from having to relist it and re-screen providers and whatnot). (4/5/2008)
Response: sounds good to me. you are a great guy and loyal. keep me in mind. Kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: (gal- female transporter). Don't worry.... everyone does the same thing :). I have your listing on my watch list so I will keep updated on how it goes if nothing else goes through. (4/5/2008)
Response: well i should have realized. you are very good at communication and real take care of your customers. well know i'm hoping that your load falls through on the east coast. it is so hard to find a great transporter. Kevin (4/5/2008)
Response: I appreciate that. There are alot of great providers on this site. I was going to recommend someone whos work I am familiar with just in case I couldn't do it for you but I did not want to get flagged as I don't know if that is allowed on here or not. I will keep close watch on this one for you. (4/5/2008)
Response: No that will not get you flagged. can you give me their name on the uship site and i will make a bid request. (4/5/2008)
Response: Annes Limo or Tradewinds Transportation. Great folks and great work out of both of them. (4/5/2008)
Question: Your most recent bidder(phillips) did a job for a friend of mine way back when I was working for my moms company and they spoke very highly of them. (4/5/2008)
Question: Thank you very much for the bid request. At this time the earliest I could schedule pickup of your craft would be 05/07/08. If you may, request a bid from K & E Hauling LLC (Uship ID = Bedelman), this gentleman can and will provide (schedule permitting) exceptional service. The transporter that provided referral will also provide provide exceptional and outstanding service. Thank you and I wish you the best for your transport needs. (4/6/2008)
Question: Thank you for the request. What dates are we looking at? Thanks again Richard (4/6/2008)
Response: do you have a transporter plate... as i'm the new owner and the trailer has no insurance. (4/6/2008)
Response: Yes I have a transport plate. But I don't have a opening until mid May. If your time line changes let me know and I'll place a bid. Thanks again Richard (4/6/2008)
Question: HI I CAN DO YOUR TOW ASAP FOR 3100 (4/6/2008)
Question: Hello, Thank you for the request. Unfortunately, we cannot come near your target price. Best wishes. Matt(WolverineTransport) (4/6/2008)
Response: what would your price be. and could you deliver on april 19th Thanks kevin (4/6/2008)
Response: Yes, that date is viable. Our bid would be $4,495 all-inclusive door to door. Insurance value up to $100,000. Thanks, Matt(WolverineTransport) (4/6/2008)
