Additional Information: Ownership has been transfered so this shipment is ready for pickup. I would like to collect the boat from Blaine WA the day it arrives and do that next week sometime. The boat has a towing cover and the marine shop where it is located is suggesting I invest 300$ in putting a plastic cover over it. If an experienced shipper has a less expensive idea I'd be interested. The dimensions are not including the trailer. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: My experience (please see my profile) has been that the shrink wrap will protect it to some degree. Its a better option then towing with the mooring cover on, that makes a mess of the boat from the damage of vibrating in the wind9will rub on the gel coat making it dull and straps can scratch the hull). Others are going to tell you different and they are welcomed to do this as we all have had our difference experiences pulling boats. My past experience is is either shrink if they do it right or don't even bother. I've towed almost all my boats open. I've placed my bid to pick up this weekend and deliver early next week. Thanks for your consideration , Ian (spazster34) Johansen Second Chances Transport Kennewick WA (6/18/2008)
Question: I agree with Spaz. Shrink is good if the weather is bad. I would pull with out any cover. Ron (6/18/2008)
Question: I can be in CA on WED evening next week and have the boat up north to you by friday! I would have it shrink wrapped to keep it safe! I would be looking to charge 1285$ Let me know asap as I have a motorcycle I will be picking up as well! (6/19/2008)
Question: hello shipper...will you allow your boat to be towed if so we can p/u and deliver a.s.a.p.-joe (6/19/2008)
Question: Does it have a ski tower (6/19/2008)
