Response: : Mick, thanks for the reply. As I put in my bid I'll be up there mid next week. Flatbed transport was 1 of 6 options offered with your listing, it did not specify flatbed only. My bid was to tow your Mastercraft on it's own trailer. Usually flatbed transport will cost you quite a bit more than the bids you are getting. I am currently hauling a 22' Mastercraft X Star from Nevada to New York, will then be headed for Seattle. Would love to be able to provide you with the same great service my other customers get. Response: Doug, The dealer told me the tires have 30% left on them. I wasn't planning on the expense of 4 new tires. Once I get it home, I have a lift for the boat and the trailer will just sit. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Mick8/23/2010

Response: : Well, can you find out from the dealer the actual condition of the tires? If they are in good condition and only 30% tread left, they should be fine for this trip. If the overall condition of the tires is 30% that is a different story. I would be most concerned with any traces of dry rot or tire abuse (ie. signs of them being run under-inflated, etc.). If there is none of these, and the tires are kept properly inflated, there "shouldn't" be any issues with the tires making the trip. Doug8/23/2010
