Response: I am going to bring the boat through to Vancouver at the trucker crossing at Blaine 9901 Pacific Highway but want to take over the delivery in Bellingham in case I have to get DMV stuff taken care of. I assume once you hand over the boat and trailer there is no longer a permit on the trailer and I would need to get one issued in WA State.

Response: If we do a deal I will haul it the 30 miles into Vancouver free of charge. You can meet me @ Pac Highway crossing in the commercial compound and handle the customs paperwork there and then I could follow you to Vancouver. Response: I am going to bring my own trailer and vehicle down to meet the boat in Bellingham so that I can bring it acrosss myself. I am looking for a carrier with their own trailer....if possible...but figure that is unlikely. (4/5/2008)

Response: No just the boat loaded on to your boat trailer. I would then transfer the boat to my registered Canadian trailer in Bellingham.
If the cost is prohibitive though then I will have to find my own trailer to go with the boat on pick-up. I am still looking for a target price of ~$2500. (4/6/2008)
Response: $2500 for 3500 miles is not even realistic. Sorry to say that but a boat on its own trailer would be about $1.35 mile. We would charge $6000 to load this onto our own boat trailer. Problem with loading your boat onto our trailer is that we have to dead head to go get your boat and then dead head after we drop your boat off. 99.9% of the time there isn't a boat that we can ship on our trailer to your pick up location and there isn't a boat @ your drop location. Most carriers charge $1.80-$2 mile for a boat loaded onto our own trailer. Even if you had a trailer you would be looking @ $4,800.00 (4/6/2008)

Response: I am now just looking to have the trailer issued dealer plates. This site seems okay but difficult to structure a deal like this considering I can not talk to any of you providers. I am still waiting for a purchase to go through so will contact you again if I still require this. ie. I can not get dealer plates issued.

Response: if you were willing to title the trailer in florida you could get a tag for it for under $30.00. then just transfer the title and plate when you get it up to where you are going. i know i only pay $15.00 a year to tag my trailer. (4/18/2008)
