Hi John - I am a car restorer living in Tucson. I have 3 trips to make up to San Jose this month to pickup cars for my business. I would like to transport your bike for you within your timeframe. Please see my customer feedback for references. If acceptable please confirm my offer soon as uship only lets these offers be valid for 24 hrs before expiring. Your bike would be loaded and then blanket wrapped, padded and tarped. I don't drive in rain. Thx, Chris

Hi Chris. The bike is located at Arizona Kawasaki in Apache Junction. It is already paid for so it will be available to pick up as early as next Tuesday, if you want. I have never used uship before so sorry for sounding like a noob. Do you carry any insurance if there is damage to the bike during transport. Thanks, John Romano
HiJohn - No worry, most shippers on uship are first timers. I offer std cargo coverage ($0.60 /lb) for lost/stolen items. Uship offers insurance riders on a per shipment basis that is priced well. For what it's worth, I haven't had any damage issues on any of my shipments. I put new/nice bikes up in my truck, blanket wrapped and padded to eliminate possibility of wind or road debris damage. I am a car restorer (old 50s-60s Jags) so care and attention to detail are important to me. Thx, Chris
Hi Chris, With your great feedback I'm not worried about you damaging my bike. But if you were involved in an accident, would my bike be covered? Do you have an idea of the soonest you would pick it up? Thanks again, John
I have my truck & trlr insured & I know that my stuff is covered either by my auto or my homeowners insurance. Couldn't say for sure about someone else's things inside my vehicle - I've never had to find out. Your homeowner's (if you have it?) may also cover it. But to be sure, Uship will offer you cargo insurance, for the shipment at the time you accept and pay. If you want it, then be sure to accept it then, as you cannot go back & add later I can do 2 things for you here to help. #1-If you purchase uship cargo insurance, I will reimburse you for 1/2 that cost up to $30. #2 - In addition,if you need to file a claim because of an accident during shipment, I will pay the deductible for you. You should keep this email as my written commitment of that. I am targeting to pickup your bike Fri-Sat-Sun of this coming week (15-17th). Delivery 1-2 days after I pick it up. I travel in the evenings when it is cooler and less crowded,& I tow at 55-saves my truck & tires.Hope this helps. Chris
