Additional Information: Pickup location is an apartment complex. Pickup and moving trucks are always coming in and out of the complex, so space shouldn't be any issue. I would like to have it delivered asap after pickup with minimal turn around time. Report a Violation

Question:

Would you be willing to accept open transport in the bed of a newer Ram dually pickup?Report a Violation
Response: I would much prefer enclosed transport. However, depending on how soon you could do transport for, as well as types of cover and protection from the elements that we could use, I would be open to open transport. What is the soonest day that you could pick up and soonest that you could deliver?7/29/2014Report a Violation
Response: Pickup would be tomorrow or Thursday, delivery next day. Open transport in the bed of a truck is much better than open transport on a trailer because there is virtually no chance of road debris (gravel, tire pieces, etc) hitting the bike. It would still be exposed to weather, but it is summer time so rain might be the only issue, nothing a quick wash wouldn't take care of once at it's destination. As for covering it during transit via open transport I wouldn't recommend it because if the wind gets under whatever is covering it, it will whip the cover around and it can be very abrasive to the paint. Unless the bike was extremely rare or a very high end custom, I would not be too worried about it being transported in this manner. I have transported hundreds of bikes this way and have never had any issues.7/29/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ok that sounds good. Would you be able to do pick up on Monday, Aug 4th? Or any time next week? And also, do I only need to have someone at the destination available to sign for the delivery, or do I need to be the one to sign upon arrival?7/29/2014Report a Violation
Response: Would I be able to pick it up tomorrow? And no, you do not need to be there at delivery as long as somebody is there to take delivery that would be fine.7/29/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hey there, sorry I couldn't get to this sooner. I actually need it picked up next week. Anytime next week would work so early in the week or later is fine, If you can do a pick up at some point next week then please let me know. thanks8/1/2014Report a Violation
