Response: My apologies. The width is 8'6", not 8'8"; the weight is somewhat of a guess, that I was further researching. Empty,without trailer, the boat weighs 5750 #; adding fuel (75 gal/capacity), gen set (143#), assuming the 30 gal. holding tank and the 30 gal. water tank are empty, only the railer weight remains. We are attempting to find this information. However, the height of 13'5" (confirmed) includes the trailer, and length remains 24'7", and the width 8'6". We will call the manufacturer to obtain clarity on the trailer, as well as any other accessories that are not figured in to the reported weight. Response: When would be able to pick up the boat? Which truck would be used? You list 2 drivers. Whether the driver is yourself or your partner, can we assume the insurance coverage you report having applies to either of you, and are you willing to provide a certificate of such to us? As we have been strongly and repeatedly advised by a number of professional transporters NEVER to pay a deposit, we question your need for this. (11/8/2009)

Response: Per your dates... An active MC# is proof of Ins... My 2nd truck is a back-up... Deposit cover gas expenses and potential problems with your trailer to insure it's transport... I'm one of the highest ranked Marine Transporters on this site, I'm not the cheapest... (11/8/2009)

Response: what does the insurance cover? If we accept your bid when can you pick up the boat? How long would it take to deliver the boat. How many of your deliveries are on time? What methods of payment do you accept. What happens if the boat is damaged on delivery? The boat and trailer are essentially new. The boat retails for $150,000 but was very slightly used so we paid $115,000 so we are concerned about it's safety. Lot's of questions but we like your bid (11/8/2009)

Response: I totally understand, I have transported numerous high end boats like yours. I would be just as cautious if the tables were turned... Ins covers the cargo in case of accident... It doesn't cover rocks chips and dings caused by normal driving ( none does ) Pick up on the 30th and deliver within 4 days. I'm am accident free 100% on time. I have never had a boat delivered with any damage thus far. My feedback should give you an idea of how I run my business with 40+ positive experiences on record. I'm currently ranked 27 in 140,000+ in Marine Transport Here are my deposit instructions: Just prior to pick-up I will need the deposit of 50% made... I normally have this done directly by the customer at a Bank of America branch directly to my account... This saves me from having to add an additional 3-4% for credit card processing it also saves allot of time and hassle of verifying payment... Account info furnished at booking...
