I can keep my rates low by working with flexible shippers (within limits and whom I keep informed along the way on their updated ETAs once they book). As I said before I also try to do my shipments in to order in which they are booked. I just dropped one off and have 3 vehicles to do before the next one that books and it's already Friday so this weekend obviously wouldn't work. Did you indicate this deadline in response to my original questions? Response: If you pick it up on Monday and deliver it on Tuesday, you can use it to haul a trailer, there is a hitch on the truck, but no reciever, and ball, so you will need to provide both. Can Manheim provide you with a temp tag or can you fax/Email a copy of your temp tag to them? Our other option is for you to overnight me your plate early tomorrow which would push back the pick up until it arrives. I need to have a legal licensed plate/tag for me to drive your vehicle. Response: Thanks for your reply. Every state has different motor vehicle laws and while that may be legal in Wisconsin it may not be in every state I would need to drive through. I know for a fact it's not legal in my home state which is one that I would be driving through. Driving a vehicle without proper tag or license is a sure fire way to get stopped and I've spoken to driver's who have had vehicles impounded for doing what you are suggesting. It's not worth the risk of me being ticketed or you having your vehicle impounded just a couple bucks on the cost of a temp tag. I need a legal tag to drive your Nissan. Can you get one from Manheim or fax/Email a temp tag to Manheim or overnight you plate to Manheim? Please let me know right away. Thanks! Dave (9/28/2009)

Response: Thanks for your reply. I don't accept checks, the bank holds them when they are from out of town and that further delays shipments. You can send a United States Post Office Money Order along with the plates or the easiest and lowest cost option would be to deposit the cash in my account at your local branch. If your plates arrive tomorrow I can catch the bus tomorrow evening and pick up your Nissan Wednesday. I think it might be too late for the post office but you can check if Fed Ex would still be able to pick up today and get here tomorrow. Response: Mirek, That is my standard bid. I can't leave to pick up your Nissan until I have the cash payment and plates in my hand so can't guarantee Wednesday pick up or Thursday delivery. It's too late to pick it up tomorrow already. I can deliver it the day after pick up if everything goes as planned and we don't have any unexpected delays with things beyond my control like weather, traffic, road gremlims etc. Can you still overnight the plates and payment today or is already too late? If you are serious about getting this done, please accept my bid, take the cash payment to my bank tonight before they close or first thing in the morning and then overnight the plate to Manheim.
