Question: Hello, I'm interested in DRIVING your Tundra to Tallahassee, FL, for you. Do you have a preferred pick-up or delivery date in mind? Time in transit would be four days, weather and road conditions permitting. Once determined, I'll guarantee your date; no "windows". The vehicle needs to be insured and have some form of current registration (or temporary tag). If you're at all interested, please review some of my perfect feedback of over four years and eighty plus matches; 100%~no negatives, neutrals, or cancellations. You would be dealing solely with me, the driver; no brokers, middlemen, or other drivers, and I know you would be pleased with my service. I'm rarely the least (or most) expensive option you will have, but I'm safe, dependable, flexible and fair, and I'll treat your vehicle like gold. Please ask any questions you may have and let me know if you would like me to submit a formal bid; amount would be your MAX. Thank you for your time and consideration. ~Jim Henderson (11/2/2009)

Response: Hi Jim,
Thanks but im not interested in having it driven. (11/3/2009)

Response: Hi - Thanks for your prompt response. I think I understand your feelings, though you didn't really express why you didn't want your new purchase driven. I've been doing this long enough that I can suspect your reason/s. If you haven't already, please read just a little of my feedback; you'll see that many of my customers were at first reluctant, just as you are, to have their vehicle driven, but now wouldn't ship any other way. There are distinct advantages to having it driven, that balance out the negative of the additional miles, not the least of which is that I'll do it for your stated MAX price. If you reconsider, just let me know. Either way, good luck with your shipping. Congratulations; nice truck! Thanks again. ~Jim (11/3/2009)

Response: Hi Ashley - I'm not sure if you were trying to contact me or not, from the message above that I received from you. I do notice you're experiencing some of the usual problems associated with the shipping industry. If you reconsider, I'm here to provide you a hassle-free, smooth move, done on the agreed upon dates...that's why I have the feedback I have. Whatever you decide, whom you choose, based on careful examination of their feedback, is probably your most important requirement for being happy with the result. Thanks again and good luck. ~Jim (11/20/2009)

Response: Hi Jim,
No I was just trying to clear the message since it wont go away unless I answer it.
I have shipped approx 15 cars and trucks over the last 7 years so im familar with shipping. I have also used drive services. In this case the truck has low miles and very expensive soft compound tires on it. The truck also uses synthetic oil. The wear and tear on the tires combined with the miles associated with driving it and an expensive oil change when it gets here makes driving it not a cost effective option. I have plenty of time to come and get the truck myself should I want it driven.
Thanks again but I can fly out and drive it back myself for 900. (11/20/2009)

Question: Hello shipper we are heading your way thursday and will be heading back to florida at the begining to mid week next week will this work for you ?/ Your truck will be on a flat bed and we can do it for 950.00 (11/11/2009)

Response: Hi,
Wow, Ive got crappy timing...this would be perfect
Im actually buying the truck from a guy in the military. He lives in Cali and I live in Tallahassee.
I know he is out of town until next week so at the soonest the truck wouldnt be ready for pickup until sometime on Monday. Im fine with the price im just not sure the timing will work.
When do you plan to have your driver leave cali headed back to florida?
Thanks

Question: do you still need this
(11/18/2009)

Response: Yes, I am still looking for someone to ship it. I was trying to modify the drop off address and I think I accidently reset the ad somehow (11/18/2009)

Response: National Auto Transport writes: I have trucks coming and goping in that area all the time. What are your time frames for pick up and delivery. National has 1500 fully insured trucks and drivers to guarantee a quality transport of you truck. Please advise and I will find you a truck. We have the lowest rates available. Thank You Melessa at shipnats. Please feel free to check us out. (11/19/2009)

Response: HI Melessa,
I can assume that you are a broker and not a independent owner? Im a little put out with brokers right now ive had 2 tell me that they would get my truck shipped and delayed me 3 weeks until both said they couldn't make it happen. In the mean time I missed 2 other great deals from indepedents that were out that way and could have done the job hundreds cheaper than brokers were trying to charge me.
The truck is ready to ship now. If you want to give me an idea of what your lowest rate is then I will consider it only if I can be assured that this time the job will be done and I wont be left hanging again.
Thanks
Ashley (11/19/2009)

Response: We are a broker but I will not even place a bid until we actually have a truck lined up for you. I will always ask u first and then place the bid. I am currently seeing if I have any trucks in the pick up area. If so I will respond asap so keep an eye on your email because these spots usually fill fast. Best regards, Melessa at shipnats. Feel free to check us out. (11/19/2009)
