Response: Uship DOES NOT verify if transporters are complying with DOT regulations or if they have upto date Insurance. Uship states that it is upto you (the shipper)to make sure that you are verifying that your possible transporter IS LEGAL. Please go to www.safersys.org and then click on COMPANY SNAPSHOT and then you can enter our DOT # (1699070) you can verify all my info. Response: The bike is being inspected tomorrow, Nov. 24th. After that, will be ready for shipment. Pickup is pretty flexible, but I would like delivery the week of Dec. 1st. I cannot take delivery until Sunday 5pm, Nov. 30th at the earliest. (11/23/2008)

Response: Okay here's the update. Seller didn't get a chance to take bike to the shop on Thurs, but will go tomorrow morning. When it passes inspection, I will be looking to accept a bid within 48 hrs. I would like the bike to be picked up the week of the 24th and delivered the following week. The earliest I can take delivery is Sunday, Nov. 30 after 5pm. Let me know what you can do. (11/21/2008)

Response: If bike checks-out in the AM would it be ready to pick-up PM Sat? The bike would be secured by straps front/rear, have hauled many this way. I drove semi for the Honda factory race team awhile back, so do have experiance with bikes. Thanks (11/21/2008)
Response: Most likely will be ready for pickup Sat PM, unless there is a payment issue with the seller, i.e. waiting for check to clear. However, I can't take delivery until after Sunday 5pm, Nov. Regarding straps, I want to be sure that either soft straps are used, or it is secured in a way that the straps aren't in contact with the paint. Also, since this is an open trailer, will the bike be covered in any way? (11/21/2008)
Response: Yes, I use soft straps, as people say, I would/could cover but any movement in the cover can cause rubbing on the paint, I could cover with soft blanket then cover with water repellent cover. My plans are changing on pick-up could be Sun 11/23 delivery 11/29-30, as soon as put the last together I will know for sure on dates, but these should be close. Thanks (11/22/2008)
Response: Well I spoke to seller this morning, he took bike to the shop, but the mechanic won't be in to look at it until Monday. So it will probably be ready for shipment Tuesday at the earliest. (11/22/2008)
