As for insurance, your other guy down there has NO idea what he's talking about. I'm insured through Mercury Insurance of California and you're more than welcome to check with them on their policies. I have a great driving record with no accidents and I pay $1600 a year for full coverage. That covers ANY car I drive; rentals, friends', boyfriends', etc. I only had to use it once in the past 7 years and that was for a crack in the windshield on my boyfriend's truck while I was driving. Response: I placed the bid below. When you accept, uship will charge a deposit to your credit card. There will be a balance due of $490. Half is due at or before pick up. The other half is due at delivery. Some pay the full amount before pick up so they don't have to deal with it, but that's your choice. Are you in Grenada Hills? Question: Dear shipper, as you are about to have your car driven from Baton Rouge to Granada Hills. Full tank of gas and good smelling is great for $600.00 what I’m offering to you is for $124.57 more you can have it transported (NOT DRIVEN) on my truck. No, I won’t have it detailed. It will arrive smelling like it was when you shipped it and it will have as much gas in the tank as it had when you shipped it. But it will not have 1830 miles extra on it – that is for sure. By the way, if you decide to have it driven, do check their Insurance coverage, as you know, the Insurance follows the car (not the driver) I have a feeling that your car will be covered by your Insurance policy only – not theirs. In order to insure “Cargo” One has to have a valid DOT and ICCMC licenses to be “For Hire” legal carrier and “Cargo” policy only covers your vehicle Transported on the truck, not driven.
