Response: first tihng you should do with anyone is click on thier screen name and read thier profile and feedback. once you have done that let me know if you want me to bid. Bike will be put in my van and straped down. I have one at this moment in there and its going to D.C. on sat. Not sure of times for sunday yet, have a delivery in rochester first then pickup yours and deliver it from there. (5/29/2008)

Response: Wednesday of this week is good for me, but only if it can be done without cancellations (because I have had more than enough back and forth between shipping providers and the guy I bought the bike from - I just want it done safely and quickly without any hassle). Response: Thanks. I just realized that your freight requires the guy I bought my scooter from to load it up. I'm not sure he can do that. Do you guys offer a service where you just pick up the bike, load it on a truck and strap it down? If not, I can't accept the bid because it wouldn't be right for me to put that sort of work on the seller. Thanks. (6/1/2008)

Response: Ok, so no preparation required by the seller of the bike, you just go, pick it up, load it, strap it down (and make sure it doesn't fall/get scratched) and bring to Brooklyn? (I'm just trying to gauge an understanding so we don't have any problems). If that's the case then I'm booking you. And yes, there is a lot of shadiness on here, hence the problems. It seems like a great concept and it's a shame that it's so difficult to find reliable people. (6/1/2008)

Response: The bike will be blanketed and strapped(have seller drain fuel and leave cap off till we load)to side of truck and will be delivered in the same condition as it was loaded. (6/1/2008)

Response: That's not a problem, and certainly a promise as I am a firm believer in tipping. (Hey, I know what it's like living in NYC, and a tip makes all the difference - even in my description I offered a tip). Sounds like a deal. Lets get the ball rolling. By the way, do you require any papers with it? When I won the auction I had the gentleman send me the title and paperwork so that I can register the bike here at the DMV - you guys don't need that do you? Ie: You can just ship it no problem. Response: I think just a signed bill of lading showing where it came from and where it is going should satisfy any law enforcement.But if you could get a faxed copy to the pick up point that would be great too.
