Response: thanks, that might work although I am looking to get it shipped late may or early june. car is going to Tropical Shipping in the Port of Palm Beach Seaport, Fl for shipping to the Caribbean. Do you also offer insurance? if so, how much? Do you pick the car up in Las Vegas or do I have to deliver it somewhere? (5/9/2008)
Response: Yes, I will pick up the car at your door in Las Vegas. At this time I am not able to insure the car. My van, trailer and myself are insured, but if you see my Uship profile you will see that I am a small independent company. That is probably why I am a cheaper alternative to the bid you have. If you select my services, you will need to retain your insurance on the car until the time in which I deliver it to Florida. If the "worst" were to happen, I would of course pay either for the damage or the cost of your deductible. As far as the time frame, I can make the pick up around the 14th and deliver around the 19th. If you need me to I can be more precise on dates. I hope this answers your questions. Response: Is there a possibility of a late May/early June delivery? I may need the car in the Caribbean by mid-June. The drop off in Florida is at the Port with Tropical shipping-there is a 3 day customs hold and then they sail on Thursday and Friday and take 4-7 days. I read your profile and am very impressed. Response: No, I can't get it there any sooner. I would guess that the customs folks would not accept the car on a Saturday or Sunday. I can have it there on the 16th and I would guess it would leave on the ship on the 19th or 20th. I am sure you noticed that I am a teacher. I am still in school through early June. Question: If you are interested in a Driveaway (I "drive" your vehicle) I would bid an all inclusive bid of $800 which would include the fuel for your vehicle and all of my expenses as well as my driver's fee. The vehicle would need to be insured and have current registration or a temporary permit. I can deliver the vehicle within 3 days of the time it is picked up. Response: thank you your references are great. I'm not sure of the dates yet. Probably the end of May. Are you flexible? Do you pick up in Las Vegas or how do you pick up? I have full insurance with AAA. The car will be delivered to a Port Terminal Riveria Beach, FL for shipping to the Caribbean-can you do that? I'll of course have all the paperwork ready. (5/12/2008)
