The cost to ship a standard size vehicle from Port of Honolulu to the mainland west coast port is $1055. Everyone pays the same for port-to-port. This is regulated by the Jones Act passed by Congress back in the '70's. No one gets a discount shipping their vehicle between Hawaii & the mainland. There is no shipping to from Port of Honolulu to ports on the east coast. Per Homeland Security, you are not allowed to place anything in the car. No exceptions.
