Question: Hey Shipper Was just curious if price or speed of delivery were your biggest concerns, I monitor all the trucks traversing over your route, so I can always identify who has what truck space and even how much their other loads are paying. Hopefully getting a driver to take your load at the lowest price; That takes a bit of flexibility on your end (but still a very reasonable time frame for delivery), or we can identify a price that would move the car more quickly. Response: The vehicle will be picked up after this weekend (during the business week) and delivered approximately 3 days after pickup, or sooner. The delivery to dealership is preferred because they have a service entrance that will accommodate a large truck and trailer combination. We will exercise the "the book it now" as soon as we are able to assign a driver. This will trigger Uship to release your contact information. We will then contact you by telephone to obtain a credit card number and other information important to the transport. A portion of the $500 will be billed to the credit card, and the remaining amount will be due to the driver as cash on delivery COD. Question: It turns out I have a driver who is enroute to NY who would like to pickup this car, but who cannot wait until Monday becuase of a tight deadline on another vehicle. Please arrange for the gate pass to be faxed over to the gate house ASAP for an early AM pickup. Question: Correction: In the prior e-mail I said our company would exercise the "book it now" feature on Uship for $500 to speed up the release of contact information, but then the final bill would $550. We cannot do this becuase it would violate Uship rules--we were not thinking of this at the time of the prior e-mail. This would short Uship some of their cut. Anyway if the vehicle can be ready early tomorrow morning with a gate pass, we can assign the driver--he is willing to wait until morning. We will just bid the $550 and wait for your acceptance. Therefore, if you want the vehicle moved please do accept our bid promptly. We DO NOT offer "drive away" service, only trailer transport. However, you will be given a prior days notice for delivery once the driver draws closer and a more exact date and time can be determined. Question: I forgot to mention that this vehicle would go enclosed inside an enclosed trailer.
