Question: I see you have many questions on who to trust with your bike and you should have these, uship has a link on there web site on what is required from Carriers like myself as well as shippers like you. It will tell you about DOT & MC Numbers as well as Insurance that we must have. I am one of those COMPLINAT CARRIERS that they talk about in this link. I provide 100% Insurance coverage for no extra cost because the Federal Government makes us provide this, I also use a enclosed trailer. Copy & paste this link into a browser and read what it says it has a lot of info in there. If I can help let me know and I live here in Florida also and can do this for you, like one of the other posters said CHEAPER is not always better. There is a reason why my bid would be a little higher than others and thats because of the insurance that cost me almost $10,000 per year to do this. Response: I was just there on the base on Friday dropping off a bike. Its a 460 mile ride from here to you and then back which is 920 miles. Thats 92 gallons of fuel times $4.00 PLUS a gallon which is $368.00 just in fuel and that doesnt include my time which will be way more than you want to pay. It would be over $600.00 to do it by Sunday which I wouldnt do anyway, keep looking maybe someone will bid it for you (3/15/2008)
