Response: I have received bids from $295 to $750. I was hoping for $400 with someone I feel comfortable with. Shipping would be after this week (when the seller recceives my final payment). Best receiving days would be Fri., Sat. or possibly Sun. because of my tough work schedule. Possibly other days between 5 PM and 8 PM Mon. - Wed. and 5 PM to whenever Thurs. if that would work. Response: Thanks for responding. I was in KY when I submitted the quest. but have gone south. I would think if you keep an open mind and aren't pushed for time you should get it delivered for close to your target. Remember, 3.50-$4 @ gal. fuel doesn't make it easy for transporting these days. Question: Hello, Shipper. I have a couple of questions about this shipment. My trailer is full, but there is room aboard my truck. The first question is: Will there be help available at both ends for getting the bike up and down the ramp. The second question is, will pick-up between April 9th and 10th, with delivery by the 12th work for your needs? I am fully licensed & insured and can provide proof of the status of each. I use front and rear wheel chocks and a multi-point restraint system, inclusive of canyon dancer handlebar ties. I have considerable experience in motorsport transport. (Please read my feedback.) Response: I think there would be help at shipping end, I know there will be help at receiving end. I could even have bike delivered to a friend who has a motorcycle shop nearby (next town east of me) with a loading dock. I am somewhat concerned if the party who is selling the bike to me will have my cashiers check by then, it will be close. I am sending it this Fri., 4/4/08. Response: Hi Greyhound, I just confirmed with the seller, he can help, in fact he is quite familiar with shipping motorcycles. He owns a bunch, it is obviously a hobby. He just wants a 3 hour heads up as to when you are arriving. I will confirm payment/all status OK - ASAP. $$ Check to him will go out 4/4 next day air, so he should get it Mon., 4/7.
