Question: Do you still want to ship this item?
I could deliver to your door for $700.00 in the last week of May. If this will work for you let me know and I will submit a bid.
Thanks (5/14/2009)

Response: Can you give me more details - ie. what will the bike be shipped in - ie. open trailer., closed? Will it be shipped to my home or close to? Very much interested! Look forward to hearing from you.
Carmela (5/14/2009)

Response: If I am able to work this shipment in it would be delivered to your home, or business, in Kenora. I would detach the roof of the cart, and deliver it secured and covered in the back of my truck. I treat shipments as I would my own property.
Thanks
(5/14/2009)

Response: If you can bring it right to Kenora - I can pick it up anywhere. I would prefer, that it was dropped off at my home, to ensure we have a receiver on our end. (5/15/2009)

Response: ok, let me see if I can work out picking up the shipment. Is it located in a residence?
John (5/15/2009)

Response: Yes it is - If we proceed, I will gladly connect with the individual at the pick up point, and advise you would be contacting him.
Thanks,
Carmela (5/15/2009)

Response: I may be able to get this shipment to you in the first week of August for $800.00. It's just that its out of the way, hard to get to. If you are interested in this price let me know and I will make a good effort to work it in ... this would be a door to door service.
Thanks (6/23/2009)

Response: August could work. Are we looking at early Aug? The door to door service is attractive. (6/23/2009)

Response: yes it would be the first week in August. I will let you know if I can work it out.
John (6/23/2009)

Response: I guess my only nother concern is the top - it cannot be removed. Is this going to pose a problem? Also do you have email address. I have difficulties responding - if I have a additional questions.

Question: Thanks but we are back east for a month. Valleyfleet (6/12/2009)

Response: Next month may work. Let me know, if it works for you, and what next steps would be.
Thanks
Carmela (6/12/2009)

Response: Carmels; I would place a formal bid that would have dates listed. Then you could decide if they fit your plans and budget. If they do, you simply click on the "accept bid" icon that Uship sends you, and within seconds, you receive an email with my phone number and email addy (and I receive yours also). PS, when you accept a bid, you will pay a deposit of the jobs total cost, roughly 11%, and then you pay the carrier the balance. Having said all this, I need a few days before I can even bid, after sifting thru my calender & requests. Thanks, good luck john/valleyfleet (6/12/2009)

Response: Hello John,
I had a company that was willing to haul the bike for me, although they had to decline last minute because of the height. Their trailer has 2 levels and cannot accomodate any items over 58". As you can see, I have a awning on the bike, that cannot be removed. The height of my bike and trailer is approx 72". If you are still interested in hauling this bike please advise.
Thanks
Carmela (6/23/2009)

Response: I am sorry but will be in Florida at least 3 weeks. If you still have it listed when I go west, I will bid it then. Good luck/John (6/23/2009)

Response: thanks - I'll let you know. (6/23/2009)

Question: Thank you for the bid request, but I won't be near Oregon for at least 2 months. Eddy's Smaul Haul, Siren WI (6/12/2009)

Response: Let me know if that changes. (6/23/2009)

Response: I'll be headed to Oregon toward the end of August. I'll be there for a week then back to WI. (6/25/2009)

Response: Where would you be dropping off the bike and how much would you charge for shipping?
Carmela (6/25/2009)

Response: I will be glad to haul it for you but here's the circumstances. We have a family get together at Cottage Grove OR. I'll have grand kids to and from. I may not be able to deliver to any point north of Brainard MN, or Fargo ND would be best. Need to get the kids home pronto on return. Ed. (6/27/2009)

Response: I appreciate the efforts, although it needs to be closer. I work full time, and getting away and that extra distance makes it challenging. If circumstances change, please let me know.
Thanks a bunch~

Question: Thank you very much for the bid request! Pick up/delivery would not be until mid July unless the item can be brought to Portland this weekend to meet our truck/trailer. If possible, it could be delivered next week. Please let us know. Have the very best day that you can! (6/12/2009)

Response: Unfortunately, its to short of notice for this weekend. July may work? What would we be looking for cost wise, and what would I need to have prepared?
Carmela (6/12/2009)

Question: Hello Carmela,
I received an email requesting some communication from you. I am still seeing if I can get your shipmenty to work out. Did you say that the cover WILL NOT come off?
John (6/29/2009)

Response: Yes I did, the owner of the bike mentioned the poles that hold the awning do not come off. The actual awning may be able to be taken off? I will have to enquire about that. Is this going to pose a problem? (6/29/2009)

Response: Yes, if the awning would detach from the poles that would be ok though. (6/30/2009)

Response: The awning can be removed, although it really needs to well packaged and secured, as the seller mentioned without the awning the bike can become easily damaged. Would the bike be covered, while it's being transported?
