Question: A couple more questions for you. 1) The bike would be picked up, from yourself? 2) Would there be any problem with picking the bike up about 8 PM EST on 12/26? Which would put delivery of the bike the next morning to noon (12/27). 3) Who would receive the bike? Buyer? Family member? Dealer? I ask because dealers tend to be more of a challenge to work with than individuals. Thanks. (12/18/2006)

Question: Brian - I have submitted my bid. I don't mean to put the rush on you, but I have several different hauls that I'm trying to set up during the same time (not all on uship) and I need to set my schedule. This is also why I didn't submit the bid yesterday. This transporting business is like, "a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the field." I'll have to take the first one that accepts. Question: What I don't get is why if you have accepted another bid, you couldn't just be man enough to say, "I've accepted another bid." Versus coming up with some kind of b.s. I'm not ignorant. That's the nature of this business, I don't win every bid and I can accept that. I do a bang-up job for every customer, most of which are not from uship. I have never lied to a customer, and can't understand the reasoning (or lack of) why someone would lie to me (bike mis-represented, I almost believed that ... NOT!). Just don't think you're pulling one over on me. Here's the kicker, I really do hope the guy you've got hauling this bike does a great job for you. And I hope for his sake, that your deception doesn't put him in a bind. (12/20/2006)

Question: When would you be back to AL? I live on the southeast side of Montgomery (about 70 miles north of Enterprise). I could hold it for you until you are ready for it. Or you could come up to my place and take a 1.25 hour ride south to Enterprise (of course that's only 45 minutes on a Hayabusa). The weather has been SPECTACULAR for riding here lately. It would be totally locked up / safe / secure / untouched until you get there. (12/20/2006)

Question: The 2nd will work for me. I will be home. I live in a nice neighborhood in the country. We've not had the first lick of crime since I've lived here. It will be totally locked up and I have a back-up large pooch alarm. She's very effective at barking every little noise ... almost too effective. My bid will end this afternoon. My home computer is messed up so after I leave work today I will not have access to uship. If you accept my bid you will have my cell number and can reach me 24/7.
