My truck is fully lined with E-Track anchoring system for the safest and most secure transport available. I have ramps rated for 7000lbs, a lift gate RATED for #2500Lbs. Question: Hello Twyla, I don't know who the other Carrier would have been. I don't see his offer on either of your ads. I know a lot of the Carriers on here,anyways. This is my usual route I have been running for a few years, so I am very familiar with the going rates on shipping to the Blaine area. I get up there about 10 times or more a year with shipments and I beat just about everyones bids. I don't come into Canada and I don't know of one carrier who does. A lot of carriers new to this say they will come into Canada and then when they look into it and see everything that is involved and the difficulty of it,+ the cost and they back out or have something come up suddenly. I am about 30 miles from the Missouri pick up and could do tomorrow or Friday. I could do the Florida p/up on Sunday or Monday. I can come down a bit. I can do the ATV for $750.00 and the Bike for $500.00 those rates are the best I can do and you'll have them both in Blaine by the end of the month. Please let me know soon. (2/13/2008)
Response: Hi Tim, Sounds good. The other carrier was Kodiak Transport who gave me the quote. (On my "matched" ATV) Anyway, that would be great to pick up the bike tomorrow. I believe I have to get the paperwork there to the border 3 days before delivery is this correct? Do you recommend a broker at that border? Can the bike and ATV be stored in Blaine somewhere until everything is in order? Thanks again for everything! Twyla (2/14/2008)
Response: Yes I can P/up Today or Tomorrow. Yes you have to have it there within 3 days and after it's there you have 30 days from that time to bring across the item's.I DO NOT RECOMMEND A BROKER JUST CALL THE BORDER CROSSING YOU ARE CROSSING AT AND ASK FOR THE BORDER CROSSING CHIEF, AND SIMPLY ASK HIM WHAT ALL HIS REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR YOUR ITEMS,he will tell you everything you need to do.As for storing the two items in Blaine,WA yes there is a Uhaul just down from the Blaine MALL , I have dropped many things there for storage in the past for clients. You can call them(UHAUL) and have that all sat up and just tell them my name and whats going on with the items. BUT I BET YOU WON'T NEED TO DO THAT.I am VERY GOOD about keeping in contact and you can get ahold of me just about anytime VIA MY VERIZON CELL.
