Question: Might want to check your measurements. A 340 generally has a bridge clearance of over 10' and a draft of 2-3 feet, so the overall height would be near 13 with the arch. Also, the length is near 39'. (12/18/2008)

Response: Sorry, I did not have the specs in front of me when filled out the request. So the height is about 13'. The lenghth listed with swim platform is 36.5'. (12/18/2008)

Question: WHAT'S YOUR BUDGET?? (12/18/2008)

Response: I'm shooting for $2/mile (12/18/2008)

Response: CAN YOU GET HEIGHT DOWN TO 12-06 OR LESS?? (12/19/2008)

Response: Probably. I was going to see about taking the radar off and I will check into other ways to reduce the height. Stay tuned. (12/19/2008)

Response: THANKS,LET ME KNOW. (12/19/2008)

Response: please note changes in listing (12/29/2008)

Question: Hello shipper - the hugely popular SeaRay 340 model keeps getting heavier, taller, and wider, each 'generation'. My boat book doesn't even list a clearance figure (waterline to talles), but your boat is probably closer to ~13' from keel to top of the arch, if 2003 model year or newer. From there, we would add ~18" under the keel, which would put us at max permittable height with expensive pole car requirements. What year is your boat - we'll do some more research before bidding? Also, what is the latest acceptable delivery date? (The more time available, the better the rate...) (12/18/2008)

Response: Thanks for the response. The 340 is a 2006 and no urgency on the ship date. I can wait esp. if the boat can share a ride. (12/19/2008)

Response: A few boats have come up recently for after the New Year to Cali - I can offer you a good price for this return. Are you ready to lock down a contract today for delivery in January? We have 100% rating and customer feedback speaks for itself. Basically, we do what we say we will do. (12/19/2008)

Response: I'm still waiting to get some minor issues with the boat worked out and when the boat is lifted I will have the bottom painted and then directely loaded for hauling. I would like delivery to be Jan. 9,10,or 11th. I appreciate your experience and reputation. Let's talk but I'm not quite ready to sign. Tim (12/19/2008)

Response: Working trip west to your pickup zone today - we will bid as it comes together. Your requested dates work fine. (12/19/2008)

Response: Okay. Keep me posted please. Tim (12/21/2008)

Response: Trip west I was working on has been delayed due to holidays and lack of direct communication. We are out of time now, and likely won't be back west until after the Minneapolis Boat Show. Par for the course on winter work - similar to yours, no great sense of urgency. That being said, can we book your move at this price for pickup first week February, direct delivery from there? (12/30/2008)

Response: first week of Feb may work. I will need a Friday delivery before 2PM Central time. What is your bid? (12/30/2008)

Response: My previous bid was $5300. You have two that are significantly lower, from qualified/insured pro haulers. With your new delivery window of 2/6/09 in the AM, I can't responsibily re-bid without confirming and coordinating the outbound trip, first. When it comes together I'll see if that Friday AM still works. Thanks for your communications and patience. (12/30/2008)

Response: Ok. Thanks. (12/30/2008)

Question: 2.00/mile doesn't make it profitable. There is logistical promblems in the business(deadhead,permits,timing,fees,ect...)3.00/mile is very reasonable even if I were there empty and ready to go.tduncan55(ThomasDuncanTrucking) (12/18/2008)

Response: Thanks. I will keep that in mind. I'm in no hurry if that makes the it possible to bring this boat on a truck already heading east to lower the price. (12/19/2008)

Response: Fair enough,I will be in Seatle sitting out Christmas with one.If I load south to Ca I will submit a much better offer.tduncan55 (12/19/2008)

Response: please note listing changes (12/29/2008)

Response: Thanks,I will be empty in Tuscon Az in Jan.Probally before the 15th.This would be good to get.I will place as reasonable bid as I can.tduncan55(THomasDuncanTrucking) (12/30/2008)

Response: can you commit to a Fri before 2 PM delivery in Guntersville? (12/30/2008)

Response: I am in Montana right now taking a sail boat to Seatle.I then load south(legal width load) asap to Arkansas, then I have the one to p/u in Texas to Tuscon(permit load).I could get to San Deigo asap after that. What Fri are you asking about?I should be able to make it by the 16th or soon after.I will do all I can.Right now the Holiday period and this wonderfull weather up here has got me really wanting to get south.....tduncan55 (12/30/2008)

Response: I am working around my availability to accept delivery and the marinas hours to unload the boat. I can be there on a Fri or Sat. I will have to pay OT at the marina for unloading after 2 PM Fri or anytime Sat. If you can't get it to Guntersville by the 16th or 17th of Jan then the next time I could be there is the 23rd or 24th. Please advise. Tim (12/30/2008)

Response: Sounds like this will work out great.. I should get word on the remaining boat issues in San Diego by 1/2/09 and will get back to you after that. Please keep me posted as to your schedule and likely arrival in San Diego. I wish you safe travels and a Happy 2009. (12/31/2008)

Response: Thanks to you also and a very good year to us all....I am sitting out the Holiday in MT right now.I will be loaded and heading toward Arkansas and Texas to load asap to Tuscon. It really looks good for yours to fit right in,and as I said I will be able to load and time it to fit your dates to unload. When&If you accept the bid I will then direct you to my website for all contact info and a simple form to fill out information for the p/u and del.thanks.tduncan55 (1/1/2009)

Question: Radar arch does not need to be removed for our equipment. When will you be making your transport decision? Thank you. (12/29/2008)

Response: Hi. I will make a decision in the next week. I was planning to remove the radar for safety reasons and because it may need to be sent to Raymarine for repairs. I will be modifying my request to Alred Marina in Guntersville AL for delivery destination. About 30 miles from Huntsville. Keep in touch. (12/29/2008)

Response: Radar arch can stay on but, yes, we recommend antenna/array dismantled for safety. (12/29/2008)

Response: Sorry. I didn't read your comment correctly. Arch stays and antenae is removed. (12/29/2008)
