Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can both of these items be picked up this weekend? If so I have a delivery to Chicago IL next weekend and can complete you transport. Can bike be transported in the bed of my truck? If so I can transport both for $1200. let me know and review my ratings. Thanks. (4/11/2007)
Response: Both items are available this weekend for pickup, pretty flexible on time as well. I would not be able to accept delivery in Chicago the following weekend until after 7:30 pm on Sunday however, as I will still be in Boston until then. The Bike can fit in your truck bed and transport exposed no problem. Can you tell me obout your auto transport. Enclosed trailer? Open trailer, etc...And where do you store the vehicles when not in route? I'll be moving in a few months and need transport then too. 1 bedroom house worth of stuff and a few appliances, etc.. Is Boston-Chicago a regular route for you? Thanks David (4/12/2007)
Question: I understand that you want the car trailered, but please consider my offer of $380 to safely deliver your Ninja to its destination. Have you looked at my Uship feedback? I could pick up April 15 and deliver April 18. Thanks Uship ID: timtim (4/12/2007)
Response: Thank you but those dates would not work for me, and I need both shipped. (4/12/2007)
Question: David-thank you for responding. I have a new 24 foot enclosed auto hauler. When I am not enroute my transporter stays locked up here with me at my location. Yes I do make regular transports to Chicago. What type and size of bike do you own? If my answers meet your requirements then please let me know, I'll place a bid for your acceptance and I will pickup your vehicle and bike this weekend. Let me know. Thanks (4/12/2007)
Response: Is this weekend the only time you can pickup?? Would later in the week be posible?? Thanks David (4/13/2007)
Question: David, I have another pickup in NH this weekend so it would be more economical to pickup this weekend, I will have it delivered to you in IL on Sund April 22nd after 7:30pm if this is still the plan. Let me know. Thanks (4/13/2007)
Response: Thanks, that works for me. Set up a bid and let me know when you want to pick up. (4/13/2007)
Question: Thanks David- I will submit the bid for your acceptance, as soon as you accept I can contact you then with a pickup time of either Sat Apr 14th or the 15th. My bid will be $1200 to me, uship will probably add their fee on top of this for you to pay for listing the items-just thought I'd let you know how this works. Please accept asap so that we can set up pickup time and date. Thanks again Craig (4/13/2007)
Response: I'm sorry but I don't understand why you would say that uship would add a fee for ME to pay. The uship match fee is charged to TSPs as a part of the cost of doing business, they are not charged to shippers. In fact, their user agreements specifically forbid passing these on the the shipper in any way: A. Fees - You shall NOT: • Charge to, or in any way attempt to collect from members, as an additional charge to the total amount agreed upon for the services, the uShip Match Fee... 4. Fees. There are currently no fees to join uShip and no listing or transaction fees for shippers. Transportation Service Providers (TSP’s) are charged a base transaction fee of 7.9% ...of their accepted bid price... In the event, that you charge "extra fees" (and we are made aware of this fact), uShip reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account at our sole discretion. I don't mean to get technical, but as a matter of principle that is in fact how the system works. How about 50/50:$1240 (4/13/2007)
Question: David, sorry I didn't give it any thought, my other customers pay the fee. But you are right I can certainly go half with you for $1240. I am resubmitting a new bid for your approval. Thanks Craig (4/13/2007)
