Response: Thanks for the quick response back. I am not familar with what exactly is needed to pull the trailer. I won it off of an auction and it did not specify that their were any problems with the towing package. I just did not want to take any chances, so I specified it may need to be hauled rather than towed. I do not know if you can expand the picture and see if everything is on the trailer to have it hitched. I do have an e-mail and call into the contact person at the auction to double check that the trailer is towable and roadworthy. Camarey (7/10/2007)

Response: As stated above. I'm delivering a boat just North of Richmond on Thursday, 12 July and heading back west as soon as it is dropped. Response: I recieved an e-mail in regards to the towing equipment. It is as follows: "The trailers are equipped to be towed. You might need two quick links to connect the chains to the tow hitch if not equipped with hooks." Gary Keenan FEMA Logistics management Specialist I am needing to hear back from the Virginia site tomorrow in regards to pick-up requirements. I will be in contact with them by 6:30 a.m. eastern time. If I except your bid is that the best price you an give? Response: Taking into consideration the the UShip fees, the distance, the equipment wear and tear combined with the cost of diesel fuel for a trip in excess of 1100 miles, the price shown in the bid is the best I can do. Insurance coverage is 1 mil liability and 50K cargo at no cost/no deductible to you. I'm staying put till mid morning to await your decision. If you should choose to utilize my services for your transport needs, I'll be at the P/U point within 1 1/2 hours upon bid acceptance. (7/11/2007)

Response: Yes, I had to decline the bid because I had to change the weight from 4000 to 4250. In order to make the changes I had to decline all bids before I could make the changes. If you resend another bid I may still consider. I am still awaiting some info about the trailer towing equipment before I can make a decision on what bid I will go with. Thanks for the inquiry.
