Question: being DOT / MC registered DOES NOT PROTECT ANYONE. That just is NOT TRUE. Over 4,000 DOT / MC Licensed drivers stole shippments last year with NO RECOURSE to shipper. There are many many DOT / MC registered drivers who steal daily from their clients. it DOES NOT protect anything or anyone. What does protecta a shipper is the person they are dealing with has a Qualified Reputation, Good Constant Record, has a Verifiable Insurance Document, and good quality references. (2/14/2008)
