Question: We can do this around the end of the month for $550, we have a secure covered m/c storage facility in SF just off the 101 where your bike could be left awaiting collection free of charge, (it is not a friends back garden or an old lock up garage, its a registered bike storabe facility) check us out and let me know if your interested. Response: Hello, It sounds pretty good. Price is cool and way cheaper than last year, when the gas prices were flying sky high. Leaving the bike at a storage facility makes it easier for me. Do you have more info about the "drop off" site? Is it OK with the panniers on the bike? There will be some stuff in them (typically camping stuff) And could you give me some idea of when it would be delivered in NYC? I´m leaving on another trip again in the beginning of August. Also, before I make a commitment I need to confirm some dates with my partners in crime, they are coming in from Europe. But I can give you an answer this week I hope. Cheers Chris (4/7/2009)
Question: Well in answer to your questions, the storage facility is on 14th st, and we would prefer to have the ability of removing the panniers if need be, the arrival date in NY NY would be approx 10 days from collection, as to confirming things with your friends, go right ahead, we have only a few bookings so far on this West East trip, the transport out is almost full, but all the bookings we have are in Siouth CA 5 San Diego 3 LA area and 2 Vegas, so as soon as those are done we will head up to the bay and collect. anyway let me know.
