Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is this a bumper pull or 5th wheel? Could this be picked up between 1/18 and 1/21? (1/14/2008)
Response: bumper pull. yes those dates are fine. (1/14/2008)
Response: Thank you for your quick response! I've placed a bid below with further details and our profile has additional information. If you choose to accept our bid then uship will e-mail us each others contact information so that we can finalize the details by phone. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. (1/14/2008)
Question: WHEN DID YOU WANT THIS DONE? HOW MUCH DID YOU HAVE IN MIND? (1/14/2008)
Response: flexible dates in the next month. I don't have a dollar amount...you tell me. (1/14/2008)
Response: CAN YOU CHECK ON THE WEIGHT,THAT NUMBER SEEMS LOW FOR A 35 FOOT? (1/15/2008)
Response: this is a light weight trailer. We pulled it with a Chevy Silverado 1500. The trailer is shorter than most and has less storage. (check manufacturer website). The gross is 7200 but it will not be shipped with water, etc. (1/15/2008)
Question: I need a load coming out of WA as I will be making a deliver into Nanaimo, BC. If you have some flexibility on your schedule I could give you a pretty good price break. Let me know. Thanks. (1/15/2008)
Response: Yes, the timing is flexible. I need it delivered in TX either before Jan 29th or after Feb 10th. The time in between, I could have my parents receive it but I would rather do it. We can work something out if you can offer a good price. Thanks. (1/15/2008)
Response: I have a boat going to Nanaimo, BC and it will be delivered on the 10th of Feb. I could pick up then and deliver for $2300.00. Let me know if interested. Thanks. Jeremaih (1/15/2008)
Question: Our driver is still on schedule to be in WA on 1/18 if you think you might be able to ship this weekend, please let us know how things are going on your end, thanks. (1/15/2008)
Response: Yes, we expect to ship this weekend. I have several questions. What vehicle will pull the trailer? What route do you expect to travel? Do you have snow chains? I heard in Oregon, you need them for the trailer. What is the expected number of days between pick up and delivery? Will there be a contract at the time of pickup? Is your insurance still active? How often should I expect a status update? If you run into an issues during the trip, how do they get resolved? For example, if you have a road hazard that blows a tire, do you buy a new tire and I pay for that tire? Would there be any other expectation of expense out of my pocket. I would want to be consulted for anything I may not be expecting. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. (1/15/2008)
Response: This driver is in an '06 Dodge 1-ton dually. Depending on the weather he may travel down I-5 through California then across I-10 through AZ and NM, or he'll take I-84 through Idaho and and then cut through UT and NM. Most likely he'll go through Calif. Our drivers do carry chains and cables if needed but we'd much rather park during bad weather than risk your property and ours. If the weather is good he should make delivery in about 4 1/2 days. We would be in contact by phone each day and you'll have our numbers anytime you want to check on his progress. At acceptance of our bid I can e-mail our proof of insurance and DOT authority information, and shipping agreement. Your trailer will be covered by our insurance during transit and we have "in transit" tags for use on your trailer during shipping. In the event of a breakdown we will call you before going to any expense. If your trailer has no spare tire our driver will check prices for repair and get your authorization prior to expense (1/15/2008)
Response: Are the in transit tags like the temporary transport tags? The TX state tags expired. We requested more Jan 2nd, but I doubt they will make it in the mail this week. We heard from a RV place in WA that you can get temporary tags that let you transport across state lines (like if you bought a new one and didn't want to register it in that state). Please let me know if this concerns you. (1/15/2008)
Response: Yes, they are, but they're for carriers' use on different trailers and expire each year, we haul a lot of horse trailers and travel trailers from the manufacturers to dealers. Temporary tags are for owners use for only a short time (usually ten to thirty days). No worries, our tags will keep it legal until we unhook from the trailer at your place. (1/15/2008)
Question: We only ask that any authorized expense be reimbursed to the driver upon delivery of your trailer and a copy of the expense receipt. (1/15/2008)
Response: ok, I agree that safety of the driver and trailer are very important. I would prefer the trailer to be received by Jan 29th, and that sounds easily done. The trailer does have a spare and it is a new trailer but I wanted to make sure sound judgement and practices were in place. (1/15/2008)
Response: LOL, trust me, our driver doesn't want to travel snow-packed or icy roads any more than you want him to! From the looks of the forecast I expect he'll come down through CA to stay out of the mountains and the high winds in WY. (1/15/2008)
