Question: Hi, We will be in the pickup area tue 8-12. Then straight back to Fla. Could save you money if you picked the bike up in Hudson Fl. Thanks (8/4/2008)

Response: That part of Florida is pretty far, how much would this this save me, what would the total cost be?
Thanks,
Mike (8/5/2008)

Response: The cost to bring the bike to Stuart would be $600. If you pick it up in hudson would be $450. Please let us know asap we only have 1 spot left. Please check out our feedback, we wont let you down. Thanks, Greg (8/5/2008)

Response: Maybe I could do Ft Peirce or West Palm if another shipment comes up, I have until the end of the month.
Thanks (8/6/2008)

Response: are you saying you don't need the bike till the end of the month? We average 2 trips a month if you want to book on our next trip and leave the dates open we could do that and then find something else going you way to offset the fuel costs. We are very flexible (8/6/2008)

Response: I won't be leaving for Florida until the 31st so I am in no hurry to get it booked or moved. Let me see what the guy for 500 says about the total cost, and if there are extra fees but I can't ask someone to drive 300 miles to pick up my bike if I'm not even there so if you get something closer that would make it easier on my side I would be interested. (8/6/2008)

Response: shipper we can pick up your bike this trip and store it in our secured storage my 6 car garage at my private residence for 500 would that work? The thing is I'm trying to fill a spot on the truck it doesn't matter to me when i deliver if the spot is filled its like money in the bank and you don't pay till delivery and everybodys happy at least your bike is moved and ready for you when you get to florida (8/6/2008)

Response: It is sounding pretty good so far but is that 500, to Stuart or Orlando? And by when do you have to pick up by.
Thanks
Mike (8/6/2008)

Response: if were not bringing it to you next week and storing it here I'll deliver it to your door included in the price, that way your giving me some flexibilit so i can find something goin down to stuart by the time you need the bike and i can fill my truck next week. Does that appeal to you? You get the bike moved, stored, and delivered to your door safe and secure for 500 let me know thanks (8/6/2008)

Response: Yeah that'll work for me, if your sure you can get something going down that way it would definitely be going above and beyond and would really appreciate it. I won't be able to ride it until the first or second week in sep, would like to have it as soon as your going that way but won't need to have it until then, if that will give enough flexibility as far as the delivery options go. If you can deliver it to the door the address would actually be
7503 SE Peacock St
Hobe Sound, FL 33455
Hope that won't affect anything, there is a house in Stuart if Hobe Sound is a problem but it might be a bitch to get a truck down. And would hate to see your truck get chewed up by the trees an such after all the help. Just let me know how and when and what to do as far as booking payment and loading go. I appreciate all the help and going out of your way like that.
Thanks again for all the help
Mike (8/6/2008)

Response: Mike no problem getting in there my truck is a dually and I won't have a trailer attached and your timeframe is good i might be headed to the keys to fish anyway so no need to worry about getting it delivered in a timely manner all you have to do know is accept the bid we can then have each others contact info and talk on the phone live lol. we will be picking up your bike on Tuesday the 12th as far as time goes we will work it out live ok? thanks Skip (8/6/2008)

Question: Hi Mike, We booked a dog from Ca. to orlando last night. Can you pick up your bike in Orlando ? Right up the turnpike. We can do the job for $450. Please let me know asap. Thanks Greg (8/6/2008)

Response: No, I think that's to far, maybe I would consider FT Peirce, but Orlando would cost me 100 in gas round trip and someone already quoted $500 to bring it all the way. Out of curiosity is that out the door with so other charges or fees.
Thanks
Mike (8/6/2008)

Response: out the door ? like a used car lol? any price I give you is all inclusive no extras. I would like to do this for you as I'm going to be really close to the pick up local what would you consider fair and let me see if I can twist my partners arm and maybe get a little closer to you.We want to make you a customer and have you happy, however the reality of this business is mileage vs cost of fuel. lets me know what you think thanks (8/6/2008)

Response: Yep, like a car, new or used, there are always hidden fees and charges when it comes time to sign finance papers, which seems to be in a lot of fine print on these shipping sites, fuel surcharges and what not. Some people won't even answer the question directly when asked, which makes me weary so I appreciate your directness. Here's the situation, I'm being forcibly retired from the military due to what the VA considers disability but I won't be leaving for Florida until the 31st so I am in no hurry to get it booked or moved. Let me see what the guy for 500 says about the total cost, and if there are extra fees. I can't ask someone to drive 300 miles to pick up my bike if I'm not even there. I understand it all comes down to what it's going to cost you in time and fuel to get it moved you get something closer that would make it easier on my side, doesn't have to be this trip, I would be interested. (8/6/2008)

Response: sorry to hear that brother I'm an ex viet nam vet been round and round with the va here in tampa i used to be stationed right there at pendelton in the 60's I will do whatever you want as far as your shipment (8/6/2008)

Response: Thanks for the kind words. I just got out of the VA in La Jolla for a second spinal surgery last Wednesday which is why I'm heading home. Was with 1st recon and 5th marines before that, I can't imagine Pendleton has clanged too much since back then. Let me know if you think you can do Stuart and if so when and where you have to pick up and drop off, and how it all works.
Thanks (8/6/2008)

Response: what i would do is this ,Pick your bike up on tuesday and bring back to my garage and deliver to you in stuart when your ready to recieve it.The only snag I see on delivery would be wheteher I'm here or not but I don't anticipate a problem as I usually stay close to home around the labor day holiday plus the time frame gives me flexability to find something down there to either pick up or deliver (8/6/2008)
