Hi again! It does not look like the deal will work out this week, and I apologize for that. It may work out in the next few weeks--my friend is moving and has the bike in storage in one place and has to deal with moving the rest of their things from the other place, so I can't really push him--it will be when he's ready.
Will you be back in the Portland area in the next month or two? The bike is actually at his new place in Hood River, I just found out. He could probably get it back to Portland if that would be easier for you.
