Question: Hi - Jim again - Normally I could get this done for your target price, but because I would have to fly on short notice, to come close to meeting your desired delivery dates, the cost would be substantially more. The most reasonable time period right now would be pick up on the 27th and delivery New Years Day, but even that would be way above $1200. Response: Hi - Thanks for your prompt response and information on the Jetta. I'd really like to do this for you, but I'm afraid we just can't meet on the cost. I'll have close to $600 in travel expenses getting to Hollywood, FL and away from Cut Bank, MT plus fuel expense of almost $300, and that just doesn't leave enough to do the five day job. If I could figure out how to get in and out for something more reasonable, it would work, but the holiday is driving up the cost and making the transportation even sold out in some cases. Question: I can also offer 'driven' transport ( only to Great falls )...no adequate public trans going back south from Cut Bank/Shelby. $1,000 c.o.d ( total )...under those circumstances. Response: I hear you!....shoot! Obviously, your fightin' the clock on that VW. If I was in FL now, I would not hesitate! I'm home in New Mexico. Even if I hopped a bus tonight/tomorrow....the x-mas scheduling / pricing... would still arrive e in FL 2-3 days..( 27th-28th. No way I could safely cover distance to MT before about Jan 1st 2nd-ish. Especialy with current weather across the plains. You definitally need someone near pick-up point now! Bad time of year huh? Sorry. Let me know if you come up with solution. Thing is bus tickets are naturaly DOUBLE right now cause of holidays....otherwisw 1000 would have worked,,,sorry. Bus arrives near Hollywood FL 27th ( afternoon ). Will that work with yur seller? can they have the temp tag in window by then? And can you send/fax them anything that shows insurance on vehicle? My goal would be to arrive great falls by noon Jan 2nd.....( 5-600 miles a day )..Bus leaves there 2:30 PM.
