Question: I live just north of Gainesville, in Lake City, so I can pickup quickly. When can it be picked up? Can it be towed to you on its own trailer? (9/2/2009)

Response: It can be picked up early next week, and yes it can be towed on its own trailer. (9/2/2009)

Response: How does 600 sound? (9/2/2009)

Response: This boat is actually less than 1000 lbs. A center console fishing boat. Reminds me of a john boat with a motor. I was thinking closer to $500.00 (9/2/2009)

Response: I could go to 550.00? I appreciate the interest in using my services. Also I ask that you verify all DOT/MC numbers and insurance within the Safersys(click on my DOT number, you want to make sure my Authority is "active" and my insurance is on file. (9/2/2009)

Response: That would be appreciated. I will check your information out. Can you please provide me your MC and DOT License Numbers? (9/2/2009)

Response: [content removed - TSP’s may not include DOT/MC number(s) or FMCSA URL(s) – you can direct members to review your uShip profile]. it will contain my DOT number and all the info you need to verify my authority to legally operate for hire. (9/2/2009)

Response: Chad -- Can you by chance verify what is the name of your company or is it under your name? I show no record with the Dept of Trans/SafeStat System for your company. I've searched by the above MC# and even scanned for your name of Chad Harper and no such listing. (9/2/2009)

Response: Its there, my company name is "Chad Harpers Transport Services" you can look under my profile, uship provides this information. click the highlighted DOT number, you can then see the number and verify it on your own as well. Also upon bid acceptance my insurance agent (Not me) will fax a current certificate of insurance to you. This is not optional, I require my insurance company to do this with every one of my customers. I will never send a certificate myself as the chance of that certificate being expired is great so I require my insurance to do this so you know your getting a current certificate. Dont ever allow a transporter to send you a copy. Thanks. (9/2/2009)

Listen, I believe what you're saying above, but, this site isn't showing your information in which is a Government maintained site. I verified the numbers that UShip has provided, in addition, your Positive Feedback is a Great thing as well. Just am a little leary about not seeing you out here on this site. I've provided the website address above.

Response: $500.00, its probably lighter than that. Its a center console tritron fishing boat. I guessed at the weight honestly. Probably weights no more than a 1000 lbs. I guessed on the weight. (9/2/2009)

Response: i will lower the price a little (9/2/2009)

Response: I'll take a look. (9/2/2009)

Response: yes, my trailer is 96" X 96" inside and the rear ramp door is 92" X 92", IF your #s are correct it will fit np, and I have moved lots of boats in it before (9/2/2009)

Response: This thing is basically a John Boat with a center console... can you please give me your MC information or the US DOT #. Also, can you please let me know if you're available for Friday. Also, please formalize your bid on the site so I may complete this transaction. Also, how do you accept payment for this? (9/2/2009)

Response: no DOT, I dont stop at scales, Look at my feedback, I just moved one from Ocala in my trailer, I think monday would work best. Cash on Delivery is ok (9/2/2009)

Response: ok. Why no DOT# or MC#? You're being hired by me so I thought they require it? What if you get stopped? (9/2/2009)

Response: look at my feedback plz (9/2/2009)

Question: dot/mc is required to legally tansport for hire. DOT will impounded the entire load without these numbers. I do have them, I am legal and have the insurance to cover the boat in case something were to happen. having insurance without DOT authority means nothing and your boat wont be covered when transported illegally. (9/2/2009)

Response: thanks (9/2/2009)

Response: Please let me know when you have made a decision and I will bid accordingly. Thank you. (9/2/2009)

Response: OK (9/2/2009)

Response: I am not trying to bug you, just want you to know regardless of who you use, please verify DOT and also review the feedback as well... (9/2/2009)
