DEAR SHIPPER: If this vehicle can be DRIVEN to it's destination in North Dakota, I will do it for $1,147.00 TOTAL COST and can pick up tomorrow (10/01) with delivery 3-5 days later. The vehicle must be TAGGED & INSURED and full payment will be required upon pick up in Memphis, Tennessee. If this may be an option for you, just let me know and I will place the formal bid. Response: : Shipper, thanks for your fast reply. As a drive-away transporter, many factors come into play when giving a quote and executing a service via this means of transportation. Fuel, tolls, getting to location, I.E. Memphis, etc. I have personally encountered a couple incidents where I paid big money out-of-pocket with a partial payment due upon delivery in which I didn't get once I executed the job. Because of these scenarios, I will never again accept a partial payment. As far as an exact delivery date, my quote earlier was simply contingent upon rather or not driving would even be an option. I could of course give an exact date, possibly even an exact time of day, if I knew I had this job of driving to ND. However, knowing that you will not pay in full upon pick up, I couldn't feasibly facilitate this for you. I do apologize for this inconvenience and wish you the best of luck on your shipment.
